Wait a minute...what just happened at the 1:17 mark?





Now I remember, it's called a seam route. Tennessee football historians may remember that it can be thrown to a TE coming off the line of scrimmage, or on a delay route to a RB. It's also usually effective against a zone defense.

Speculative BS based on no factual data points. He had nothing to do with USC getting sanctioned. That was Carroll and a booster. His violations while here were minor. It's not like he had his players getting their papers written by other students..............

Last really good experience I have had at Neyland.

The crowd was amazing and the team was lit that night.

I was there and even in the rain...anytime my team can beat Spurrier, it's a great day to be alive. The place was rocking for sure!

Imagine where we'd be in Ws & Ls, as well as sheer cash spent on buyouts & turnover, had we just rode till 2020. No way we'd be 3-34 against our top 3 rivals since his firing. Maybe if we're still going 6-6 in another decade, fans may realize the error of our ways. Disastrous leadership.

Where has he coached that he had serious sanctions? Pete Carroll is a highly respected coach and people on this board are clamoring for Hugh Freeze. Kiffin paid the price for Carroll’s sins and he’s still cleaning up Freezes mess in Oxford. Kiffin is a tad bit of a brat and he definitely left us high and dry. But the NCAA issues are WAY overblown.

On game night, he was in the locker room reminding the team they were a no-go, then said “But screw it, let them fire me” and had Eric Berry bust in the door wearing the black. The locker room apparently went nuts.

My first game after beating cancer! Cold rainy Halloween night and we came out in black! Monterio Hardesty was awesome!

a day of drinking and dressing as cousin eddie on a chilly damp night. it was worth being sick the next few days to witness this game.

BYU and Kentucky were better than UCLA and Auburn that year.

Tennessee should never lose to Kentucky, Vanderbilt, or South Carolina.
That being said Kentucky has had some stability with Stoops and Tennessee was looking ahead to Bama and the players underestimated UK. The Vols are still not good enough to just be able to flip the switch whenever they want.

We played mistake free football after the Alabama game last year and we're gonna have to do it again

That was the only game I made it to that year. The crowd was electric and I'll never forget the energy and excitement when the boys came running through the T dressed in black jerseys even though they went though warmups in orange.

Plus, that Montario Hardesty spin move TD was amazing.

That was great night to be a Vols fan.
