Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I've never advocated complete shutdown. I believe with a blitz media campaign and National leadership the problem could have been lessened. The Administration chose to totally ignore it.
Now, that isn't totally or even partially, true.

My father is 88 and mom is 81. I know and they know they’re very fortunate to have had such a long life. They have been very compliant with the recommendations here in NY.

They now have decided they’d rather see their children and grandchildren than continue to live their remaining days/months/years without what means most to them.

I don’t know how to explain to others that people in their 80’s can make their own decisions.
Exactly like my parents. Same age group.

I feel fine for the most part. I have the occasional cough, nothing persistent. No trouble breathing but there’s definitely something going on in my chest. Hard to explain but it’s not painful it’s just there. Thanks for asking.
I get it, been there done that. Hope you are right as rain soon.

Did you see the clip? Dems have run candidates that literally **** themselves at the 9/11 memorial and that have mini strokes mid-sentence. It's hilarious.
Several of our leaders need to step back. Nadler needs to before he drops. Watching Joe, non prompter, is painful.

Why is wearing a mask a big deal in the first place?

Forget the mask issue and look at the principle here. A state leader doesn't have the power to make law by himself. If he (or she) thinks otherwise then it's a big deal 'cause it violates our rights that laws go through a legislative process.

As for the mask issue itself, there are many issues:

1) Can the gov't tell a business owner that he must require masks of his customers who are on his private property?
2) In most situations it's not easy to wear a mask for 8 hrs straight
3) Are masks effective in preventing C19 transmission? Is there science that backs this up?

An elderly person recently put it quite succinctly:

"I'd rather die of COVID-19 than boredom"

Governor Coonman is shutting down and threatening businesses here if they don't act like police with their customers. The local news media praises this overreach and political violence as a good thing.

I’ve done it 12+ hours/day, 4+ days per week for years. So have all of my coworkers.

If I need help lining up a put I'll turn to Jack. For medical information I think I'll see someone else.

Love Jack. Second best player of all time. That being said, it's silly he would comment on the covid in that manner. It's not like he's the only one questioning death toll
