Update on LS build for camaro:

Finally sat down and ordered the last of the parts needed to complete the short block. Decided to go with a comp 54-470-11. 235/251 @ .050. Advertised @ 285/301 with 113 lobe sep. She will not be a sleeper, but noticeable and good cam for street and other stuff. Also, the melling HV/HP oil pump, front and rear covers, LS1 valley cover, cam and crank sensors and hardware.

Maybe I'll get some Christmas coupons from Summit this year.
235/251 on a 113 will hit a pretty mean lick. My AMX has a 220/230 on 112 lobe centers. Mine is not a roller, but a hydraulic. Aren't the stock LS cams around 30 or so degrees less duration than yours?

Out of all the movies Connery ever made my favorite to watch was the 1989 Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade.
Sean Connery was brilliant in his character playing the role of Harrison Ford's father in that great movie...
Fighting Hitler & the Nazis plus always blowing things up. Kicking the Nazi officer out of the blimp for NO ticket.

Ugh I’ve got to get my shoulder cut on. No snapped tendons but I’ve got 50+% thinning on two tendons and impingement on the nerve passages causing numbness in my hand. 6-8wk recovery with rehab. There goes my holiday break fun stuff to do list 😥

F$&@ 2020 that is all

Having had 2 of them , I highly recommend doing your at home rehab exercises also to keep scar tissue from building up . The 2nd one of mine was to break the scar tissue lose and free the shoulder up again .. it was bad bad bad . Lol

Yes I’ve been warned by multiple people. Grit your teeth and do it now or cry and grit your teeth and do it later.

Lord .... I've put up with right shoulder pain since 1995. I just ignore it & count it as old age setting in.
I refuse to go under the knife and to go through rehab ..... what you two are talking about.

It’s only sitting a couple inches below the surface and I gave it a little tug to see if it was scrap but it started pulling up on both ends. Could be a long piece of scrap or attached to something important. It gives me no buzz buzz when I touch it.

While waiting for your sage advice I started on another hole on the other side of the box. I think I found the other end by chance. Some sort of ground wire maybe?

1 . Is it exposed copper on the outside with no coating as it looks?

2. What is the diameter or thickness? Is it a water line for irrigation that just happens to be near your meter?

3. If it isnt water, my money is on a ground wire...but I've never seen it done like that before. Normal is to bring a ground wire to a metal stake in the ground right next to house foundation...

Yeah I googled grounding a meter and as you said it looks like it should be a straight shot from the box to the rod. House is brand new so not irrigation, it’s probably a 3/8” line. In looking at a couple houses they haven’t finished the grounding rod goes in with the footers so I imagine once they finally install the meter there’s some rigging to meet those two up.

Ufer Ground. Should be connected to the load center ground wire.

Also... how the hell did you stay alive this long by thinking “hey that looks like a power line. Let me touch it and see if it’s hot!” 😳

If you have cable TV they sometimes will drive their own ground rod and ground wire. My house has 2 grounds, one for the electric service entrance right below the meter and another a few feet away for the cable TV box.

I pee on it first and if doesn’t arc I know it’s safe.

I've had rotator cuff repairs on both shoulders and with a torn labrum on the second. Rehab changed dramatically in between. The older deal was your shoulder was immobile for at least six weeks before PT ... after the first session, I went back to the doc and said remember those pain killers you offered - I want them. The new strategy is to start PT almost immediately; it was a breeze compared to the first round.

Auburn almost had a pick 6 for a TD over LSU. Dude step out of bounds on the 4 yard line. Returned it 50 yds.
Auburn has now gone ahead & scored a TD ..... up 7-0 over LSU.
