Please don't ever do this. Spend a couple of dimes on a transfer box to allow the generator to power certain circuits and not backfeed the power line when someone doesn't open the main breaker.

Not sure what to say about the gold thing except it should probably be illegal first as a road hazard and secondly for extremely bad taste ... this is the kind of thing that makes you think cruelty to even inanimate objects should come into play.

I have had all the old muscle cars that I wanted back when you could buy them for 4 figures. They are all junk. If I sold the NC house, I might consider buying the AMG. If I sold the Florida house, I would be single and living in a trailer with a bare light bulb hanging from the ceiling.
