My feelings exactly. Seeing the horrible effects of the lockdowns on children on a daily basis in my office, I've progressed from mildly-annoyed to full-on angry.

These idiots are robbing kids of education, causing untold long-term damage to both physical and mental health, and pushing children to suicide. It's shameful. Despicable.

I kind of liken this covid stuff to mrsa -- lots of 'carriers', not so many sick people - all these elderly people that are being labeled as covid deaths likely died from poor health/age, as they did before this stuff was even publicized

The difference can be huge . The main thing is the contract , like always the devil is in the details . Maybe NGV can give you some things to look for and what to watch out for . From what I’ve seen and heard the money is not an issue if you are willing to travel and a lot of companies offer large bonuses.

Did anyone else notice that at the Barrett swearing in almost everyone in attendance was wearing a mask?

The same people who had proudly refused to wear masks just a few weeks earlier.

The money is good, it can be fun, it's a cool way to explore different areas of the country...but it's not a stable deal or conducive to family life.

I went out for a little while with a travel nurse in Memphis during my med school years. She called me a few months later at like 2 a.m., but it was early at her new location in Hawaii. Different days.

Agreed . It’s like being on the road as a trucker accept you stay in one area for 13 weeks at a time . The plus side is you can pretty much tell them how far you are willing to go away from home and what you will and want do , for example having in your contract that you won’t be used as a floater to fill spots on other units . A young person could make bank if they are willing to travel across country .

I left a hospital in July with really lax standards. They ended up closing an entire floor because the staff all came back positive.
