Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Also, why is it that I can state factually from data obtained from current US sources that contradict what this guy has written, you say I’m jostling at windmills? Maybe do some basic research for yourself and stop believing poorly written opinion pieces.

BOTTOM LINE:

World Health Organization: "Attempts to reach ‘herd immunity’ through exposing people to a virus are scientifically problematic and unethical. Letting COVID-19 spread through populations, of any age or health status will lead to unnecessary infections, suffering and death."

You: Herd immunity is good goal.

Me: Whom to believe?!?!?

Grueling decision here....

Imagine ranting about "politicians" then citing an organization whose head is a philosophy PhD and that deliberately withheld and covered up initial data at the behest of a government.

Imagine citing a President who says "Windmills cause cancer."

Worse yet, imagine being such a lemming that you actually vote for said President... again.

Will do! And I'll (once again) cite reputable sources like WHO, CDC and Dr. Fauci.
The same CDC that has a deathrate for the majority of the population around 99.9%? The same Dr. Fauci that's written on the dangers of masks and infection? The same WHO that wholesale declined to look into China's data and first said there was little pandemic risk from the outbreak?

Or do you ignore them when it doesn't align with your little tyrant tantrums?

The Big Ten football game between the Wisconsin Badgers and the Nebraska Cornhuskers scheduled for Saturday has been canceled due to several positive Covid-19 cases within the Wisconsin football program.
And not a single one is sick. Ridiculous

Meanwhile, TN high school teams are well on their way to completing a season.

On a side note, I've decided when I meet a man or woman for business or social interactions and they stick their hand out to shake....they go to the top of my mental list of people I respect. So tired of all this idiocy.

you May want to take some time and review what the term “herd immunity“ meant before January 2020.

Our local high school football team here just had to forfeit the playoffs. Just had the first time in school history that they won the region championship, and were guaranteed to host the first few games. And now their season is over.

That really sucks. Those kids are getting a brutal lesson in how despicable elected officials are.

Pffft like any of that means something.

Of course it means something. It’s a great accomplishment. Years of hard work. But posts on Internet forums typically mean something too. A look into the posters inner beliefs, core values, wisdom et al

Would you care to point out in my critique of that op/ed piece where "inner beliefs or core values" come into play? I'll leave "wisdom" out, because that's territory you don't want to challenge.

I'm eagerly awaiting some rational discussion of my points from you or MP. Until now, it's been like having a talk with 4-year-olds.
