I guess I’m softening up. Definitely in the minority around here. Between lack of practices, HB having to quarantine during some of the few practices they had, and Mauer fighting injuries for most the preseason until now, I can relate to no one else has been able to be prepared to play, yet still knowing JG sucks. I’m disappointed, but not ready to bash JP just yet, and especially not ready to consider his tenure a failure or call for his head. I’ve been early on the fire coach (insert whatever coach here) wagon since Fulmer. I was on here still wanting him fired after backing into the SECCG in 07.

Oh well. Likely only getting two responses to this:
1. tldr/stfu/gtfo
2. Calling me crazy and further complaining about the situation.

The good news, I probably won’t respond to either type of response. I feels how I feels about this.

You posted a well thought out post and I think it is very reasonable.

I respect anybody's opinion. I just actually had high hopes with Pruitt, but year 3 and we're getting blowed out at home by Ky. That hurts, it does me anyway.

It's not a normal year. No fall summer workouts spring alot of people missed because contact tracing that said they should start playing together now.

I do think this will help us we can redshirt and keep the ones we want and still bring in a class they are going to have to add to the player scholly limit.

What about the other teams, who had the same scenario, who aren't looking as bad as us? Heck, Lsu played 2 freshman last night that looked like rock stars. I don't get why anybody else can do it, except us. Everybody had limited practice, yet it only effects us? Not being smart, I'm just confused at this argument.

I didn’t see anywhere where LSU’s qb missed practices due to quarantine protocols

Seems like a fair assessment.

I'm the only one around here that has no clue about the now or the future, so it's very beneficial that I receive as many opinions as I can.

We have had some Freshman show out. And everyone knew Tennessee needed all the practice and strength and conditioning it could get 2020 class got us to 85 players finally they needed the strength conditioning and food and practices.

I mean team practices overall, every team has been limited this year. It's not just our qb situation, people are using that excuse as to why we suck at any position. Nobody had a spring game/practice. Tons of teams I saw had players miss practice because of the virus, still cancelling games right now. That said, I bet those teams don't come out Saturday and look like they've never pkayed football. Florida missed this week, I doubt their qb magically sucks next week. I'm sincerely not trying to be smart, I legit don't understand how it just effects us. Maybe we missed 3 times as much as anybody else, I just don't get it. It seens to me the virus is just our "out", when the real problem is coaching and our qb.
