I just dont understand how our secondary could be this bad. I thought he was supposed to be a DB guru and the middle of the field is STILL wide open. I was all in for Pruitt but now I am really doubting him. This drives me insane.

I am not saying fire Pruitt. I give everyone a pass on COVID year. At the same time we are in year 3 and should not have an offense this bad with all the recruits and transfers. We should be top 5 based upon that alone.
It’s not losing to Georgia or Bama, it’s just not being competitive. We should have an offense that we aren’t scared to watch right now.

Ok, got it. After 5, if the same results, should he get another multi-million dollar extension that hamstrings us until after i'm gone, i' m 71 now? Or, will Phil fire him, then submit his own resignation . I've pulled real hard for Pruitt to succeed. I was dead ass wrong. He is as clueless as a nun in a whorehouse. Doesn't know where to start or when it's over.

I have been a Pruitt backer because he is the coach and I do believe he knows alot about this game but putting it all together and on the field he is struggling. I will see how he does the rest of the year. I expect us to win 3 of 5 but with a chance in all of them. Today and even last week I have seen enough of the O Line run blocking we will and should be in all these remaining games we just have to build a better game plan starting with Mauer his ability to run and throw is the best option moving forward that is why he was in there this evening not H Bailey. Hang in there Big Orange Nation the Sun will come up and THE SON SITS BY THE HEAVENLY FATHER AS LORD AND KING. IN CHRIST ALONE

...and it was so simple. All he had to do was recognize JG’s failures and have another Qb ready. If not for that I believe the fan base will still be bought in on Pruitt.

We have an offense that is handicapped by a 5th year senior who is below average at his best and atrocious at his worst. We also have a coach that for whatever reason refuses to bench him.

We're through the meat grinder , minus that disastrous UK game. We should be a lot better matched going forward until UF , so there's that. Could end up being a decent season still. We have players capable of making this a respectable season. They just have to shut out the outside noise and regroup. Play for the team ..all that jazz.

He has "assured" us....and we are idiots if we don't believe him. Of course. Its so obvious. He even said "it may not show on the scoreboard". Are you effing kidding me? "It may not show on the scoreboard"? He really went there and said that. The scoreboard. As in the ONLY THING THAT FRIGGIN MATTERS? Dear Lord.

We showed signs of life on offense vs Bama . The defense needs to play with some pride and stop throwing themselves like lawndarts in the open field. The potential for a turnaround is there.

Any reasonable person would have to agree that Pruitt's 15-15 record and the quality of the wins included is not overwhelming. In fact, it's downright disappointing. I haven't seen anything this season that fills me with hope that the future is bright. There is obviously some division on the coaching staff, discipline is lacking and player development is still a big problem. I don't know how many years a coach needs to make a team competitive but I do know that Tennessee is not more competitive now than when JP arrived. That should concern all of us.

You can “get behind” what isn’t working.....that’s cool. As for me I’m going to keep calling it out as long as I see it.

Tennessee deserves better, the team deserves better, the fans deserve better.

We know he is going to be here......but some of us will not vocally accept the crap which is being fed.

I don’t think he gets a hard pass just because of COVId but he’s not getting fired this year. Beldar is here for another year and it doesn’t matter what he does the rest of this year. Win out or lose out and it’s the same. Next year he must show significant improvement or he’s fired, possibly mid year if he $hits the bed early.
