If HB really hasn’t had much time to prep it’s the right choice to put JG out there. You may end up getting HB hurt against this defense if he’s still not ready for the protections etc. JG may start but I expect to see some HB and hope that this starts the passing of the torch for sure.

TL feels like the surest thing in a long minute...maybe since Andrew Luck. Unlike Luck, TL just needs to stay healthy.

Luck went to play behind an amazing OL with some solid skill players. I just don't think there's such a thing as a sure thing at QB. TL is never pressured and has played about 5 games his entire career against similar talent, never against superior talent where he's running for his life more often than not like Darnold is. I agree he is as good a QB we've seen for a long time, but going to a good team matters. I'd pull an Eli Manning if I were TL.

My point is, you put Brady or Manning on those Browns teams of 10 years ago, we'd all be saying "Tom and Peyton who?"

This is not a normal Saban Alabama D. They aren’t very good on defense.

In other news, Les Miles has forgotten how to coach. Well actually that event happened shortly after all of Saban's players graduated from LSU.

Well at least watching JG choke and implode will be entertaining. JP is driving nails in his own coffin. After all it's year 3. At least starting the HB or BM you're playing for the future.
Bama's defense isn't that great even tho JG will make them look like an elite D.

Pruitt to CBS: "He's had a really good week. He got injured a little bit last week, but he's back and I think he'll be fine."

But he has proven over and over again that he cannot bring the practice field to the game. It’s not a skill problem; he just can’t execute anywhere close to consistently when real bullets are flying
