Pruitt recruited him that’s why.


Now obviously the story hasn’t been finished on any of those 3 guys but at this point I take Dobbs over any of them.


If butch had inherited Dobbs I’d get not giving him any credit for him but he does deserve some credit for recruiting him.

By the way the Dobbs love here is great to see but it’s evidence that time heals wounds and erases memories. There were posters here that wanted him benched as a senior and his play cost us going to the Sugar Bowl.

Of course! Pretty typical of how things go in this league. Let Georgia and Bama get away with any and everything, and make someone else pay the price for it.

Here is another thought about Brumbaugh...anyone think he clashed for some reason with too many guys on the DL, or something related to that? We only had noise about 2 guys possibly opting out, and both were DL. Maybe they didn’t want to play for Brumbaugh for some reason, and Pruitt decided it was too much of a disturbance to overlook.

To be fair Dobbs played a huge role in that loss at USCe. I don’t blame Dobbs for vandy(even though he had a strip sack fumble like the ones we are blaming JG for) but I do think he shoulders the loss at South Carolina

The South Carolina game was the game I was referencing. Dobbs was awful that game 12/26 for 2 picks and just over 150yards passing

Butch before his staff revolted wasn’t actually bad, he lost it when he had to replace staff. Losing Lawson at S&C was when the nose dive happened.

Odd Pruitt just lost Fitz...hopefully different outcome

Yes, it wasn't good, but Hurd didn't help either. Dobbs' fumble was by a RB who hadn't played much because Hurd wouldn't play.

And I doubt you are even thinking about the biggest ego of all in terms of coaches


That’s Pruitt. After his comments Saturday after the game it’s clear he is going to be very involved with play calling and that isn’t good imo
