Yes and no. We would certainly be good with Dobbs. However, Butch recruited Dobbs in year one, and while Pruitt has recruited well, we are lacking at that position. I believe Bailey will be the guy but not until year 4.

AT THIS POINT-

Our RB's at this point are just glorified scat-backs who fall down as soon as someone grabs their shoelaces... they are fast, and can find a hole, but go down as soon as there is contact.
Our Oline is overrated. Period.
Our WR's can't get separation
Our veteran OC can't come up with an offense to cater to our strengths and talent. He doesn't even know how to call a single slant. He is overrated.
Our secondary is inconsistent and continue to blow coverage every game.
Our D line can't pressure the QB or get any push.
Haven't seen a legitimate noticeable in-game adjustment so far this season.

Sorry, but those are the facts so far this season. This is year three and we still look a lot like year one in most position groups. This is POOR COACHING. I'm not giving him anymore passes. He can recruit, but that too will suffer greatly without the results that should be seen by now on the field. I hope he turns this around, proves me wrong, and gets out of his own way, but right now it looks a lot like the same 'ish the past 10+ yrs.

So what are our strengths? You've found fault with every position on the field. The only position you have not criticized is special teams. So should we punt and hope to kick field goals every possession?

I truly believe we are a good QB away form being a 9-10 win team with the players and coaches we have now. If we can develop a QB, any QB, we have the chance to be a very competitive team in the east and overall in the SEC. Can this coaching staff recognize the talent and groom it? The jury is still out imo. Until then, we will continue on the roller coaster ride that is getting very tiresome

But butch recruited Dobbs and Pruitt recruited JT, Maurer, and bailey.


Give me butch in that debate
