So if it’s not JG’s fault, then why pull him? Also, if it’s not his fault, then why shut the offense completely down in the 2nd half, because you are scared to death to throw the football? If it’s not JG, then why in the world do we hardly EVER utilize the middle of the field in the passing game? Oh wait, it’s because JG can’t be depended on to throw the ball over the middle, because his consistent Miss is high which ends up as an INT in most cases.

I love the kid to death...I really do. He has no doubt given his all for TN and taken bullets back there. I hope he can prove us all wrong. Beat Bama and minds will change. I’ll watch it that night after it’s over, if somehow a win actually happens.

I just have no idea what more coach Pruitt needs to see in order for a change..I mean you could seriously argue that He’s regressed and he’s back to vintage freshman JG👀👀 WOW..just horrible. 4 TDS and 3INTS’..you just can not convince me that Brian Maurer,JT shrout or Harrison Bailey are worse than JG when they all 3 have moved the offense down field...Coach Pruitt is really making a solid case making it hard to support him..I feel bad for the players honestly they want to win.

edit:all of this looks really bad on Weinke as well 👀 @Bassmaster_Vol absolutely ZERO! Improvements

Don't be a dumbass. I didn't scream for Pruitt to be fired, but he's very deserving of criticism at the moment. Maybe you're having a hard time seeing with your lips on his ass, but he's not making smart decisions right now.

Forfeit the Bama game. Install Bailey as the #1 moving forward. Scrimmage with him 11 on 11 as much as possible until November 7th v Arkansas. This is the smart move. No good can come from playing Bailey against Alabama.

It's also the "coward" move but the smart move.

Or you trot JG out there to get his head kicked in as his final sendoff to the bench.

It's going where you're taking it by putting words in my mouth and refusing to acknowledge there's currently a problem. If you're going to be an ass to me, I can return it in spades. If you want respect, then give it as well.

I have seen guys like JG before - they do everything right Sunday to Friday - they are great in the film room, can see all the coverages, make all the right shifts and protections during practice, make all the throws and bring great energy to everything they do. They work their tail off in the gym and on the field.

BUT... when the lights come on and it is time to play for real - with actual pressure on a Saturday they completely fall apart.

It is the worst kind of player because you have hope, you feel a breakthrough is just around the corner. He gives you enough hope to stay with him.

I probably shouldn't say this, and it is just anecdotal. But I was at church yesterday and was in a conversation with a couple, whose grandson is a manager for the team. I can't say that I know them at all. However, they said that the managers are trying to help Bailey with the plays and get him up to speed as quickly as possible. The insinuation was that he was definitely behind based on the events of this year.

Also said that he looks the part and has a cannon.

True. But that will give him a shorter leash. When you say FU to the fans and VFL’s, it makes the hard times much worse and the quicker you usually go. I hope like heck he is the guy and is giving a bunch of coach speak in regards to the QB situation.

Hire someone who is going to do exactly what we want all the time and explain all of his decisions regarding coaches and players to all of us in great detail. Change anything we don't like and for goodness sakes don't sign anyone we don't approve of. That about sum it up? My struggle for decades as a high school coach has been getting along with adults. This forum helps me understand why.

I was nice until this last post. That's when you grouped me in with your continuous back handed attacks. I don't do back handed, I do straight forward. I think you're a good dude, but you're putting too much into your own opinion without respecting that other people are allowed to feel differently. I honestly hope Pruitt pulls out some miracle save and makes things alright, but it's hard to be positive after two losses and word he's sticking with JG. I want UT to be elite again. I hope Pruitt can take us there. But ultimately, my loyalty is to Tennessee, not Jeremy Pruitt. If I think he's messing up, I'm going to say something and not pretend everything is just hunk dory. That ain't me.

He said last week after the UGA loss that this place is toxic after a loss. I can't imagine he'd be here after Saturday.
