We’ve ran all over everyone but UGA. Would’ve beat KY easily if we exclusively ran wildcat. The pass blocking problems have been from 2 sophomore tackles and RBs completely whiffing. Has the OL been spectacular? No. But Friend’s position group is still far from our weakest. Only thing I really don’t like about Friend is the constant subbing in and out of OL. But is that Friend or is that Pruitt? Also, with a QB who could feel a rush and work the pocket, our pass blocking would look much better.

TBH, knowing the money we have, I was expecting a big upgrade at DL coach. I was expecting a guy like Davis who is known to be a recruiter and an excellent coach. This doesn’t feel like that at all. This is a guy that we got and probably didn’t have to spend much money to get. Is he a good coach? Idk. Doesn’t have high level experience. Is he a great recruiter? No idea. This isn’t like the Jay hire at all. Don’t know what to think here

I’ve no doubt he does. He coached against some of the most loaded & prolific offenses in practice all the time at his other stops. I’m banking on him about to pull a Johnny Majors here

The DL hasn’t been excellent but that’s not the position group with the biggest issues, not by a long shot.

It has to be something internal between Brumbaugh and Pruitt.
