Trey is doing what a good teammate does; support his QB. Anyone with 2 eyes , except a couple on here, will tell you that JG played horrible yesterday and Trey knows it too. He can't say that or it will cause a riff in the locker room
It's not slander if it is factual and if there is actual proof. The following is from an article posted at ESPN.com:
"I'm always going to have Jarrett Guarantano's back, regardless," star offensive lineman Trey Smith said. "Going forward, I don't want to see any Jarrett Guarantano slander."
I honestly didn't know that was the incorrect usage lol.. thanks for the education of the dayYou mean like a B.B. King or Eric Clapton riff?
Just messing with you, not the spelling police. I honestly laughed picturing a little confrontation in the locker room followed by a few players whipping out their guitars...
Glad Trey is back. However, he doesn’t get to tell us how we feel or what we are going to say about the team. Our current qb is a bust. His ceiling is hit. There is no slander, look at the stat. Bama game: play next qbs when the blowout starts and Bama’s 2nd squad comes in, put in HB.
A football game is not war. I know a few veterans that would get a big laugh out of that statement..
The bolded was my point.I'm a veteran of 22 yrs of service, not in the rear with the gear either. It's about those who you have trained with, bled and sweat with. Cause when it goes down, all you have are those to your left and right. Same with football sir. The same fight for your life only not literally in this case being the difference.
I respect the guy for sure and I’m glad he’s with us. I never told him to sit down and shut up. I said we can say whatever we want to about vols football. He will also be getting paid for the sport he loves. So, a true Vol who has risked his life for playing a sport that he loves seeks up and tells it how he feels gets attacked and is told he should "mind his place" basically. Yeah, its more than football with some of you.
Trey should start doing a lot better job than he has! He couldn’t block a 90 year old woman! The following is from an article posted at ESPN.com:
"I'm always going to have Jarrett Guarantano's back, regardless," star offensive lineman Trey Smith said. "Going forward, I don't want to see any Jarrett Guarantano slander."
Most of the people on this team are a big joke! The following is from an article posted at ESPN.com:
