I am back to the point of watching the season play out like last year and then decide. I had moved to the point where I thought we were moving in the right direction and he was the right guy but it would take time. I thought we were starting to beat the teams we should beat. Losing to Kentucky would not have had me step back to where I was after Georgia State last year. But getting killed and seeing and feeling what was going on in that stadium yesterday did. I am a little ahead of where I was after the shocking GS loss last year because of the 8 games. But losing like that has me not questioning if he can get it done. Will tell you more once the season is over AND we see what he can do with this year's class.
You don’t give a freshman an a short leash if you’re going to start himQB - Bailey (Short Leash) then Maurer
RB - Gray, Small is working hard so him at 2, can’t be any worse than TC right now
WR - Palmer, Hyatt, Johnson, with Keyton and Wideman
Leave TE, OL, DL, ILB alone for now
OLB -DJ is playing well, I’d start Mojo at the other spot with him and Bennet playing 50/50 till one emerges. Baron is too damn slow.
CB is fine
Play flowers at Star instead of Shamburger and start Key in Flowers spot
Weinke has no business being a QB coach. I’ve said it before: there’s a reason why we had him here as an analyst and then a RB coach or whatever. He had coached QB’s before, if he were good at it, he would’ve gotten another job as a QB coach. He wouldnt have been coaching RB’s. He also can’t recruit
