I agree. Gotta give him a chance. But man it will be brutal if he’s awful. Does Pruitt go back to JG again?!

If he makes a change after Bama, he has to stick with it the rest of the way. Let HB do his thing. If he’s awful, oh well. Try again in 2021 with Salter.

Anyone think Pruitt knows deep down he can’t truly turn this into a Bama UGA type team and with all the local COVID issues that other states/teams haven’t had to deal with is pushing him out?

He is going to make 4 mil a year and if fired has a huge buyout I’m sure.

So I had this thought and maybe its not fair, but could the problem be we have too many cooks in the kitchen? We basically have 2 guys who have been OC's, 1 former head coach who is really good in the RPO game and a WR coach who was the passing game coordinator at his old school. If Pruitt is mainly hands off and doesn't override much I can see where there may be a lot of arguing and second guessing on not just calls but from the players as well.

Im sure Pruitt is probably frustrated with the issues he's had to deal with, and how our admin handles things, but I don't think he's that type of guy. Imo I think he thought he could fix things with the upper class men and make them competitive while getting the young guys ready and building through natural roster turnover. I think its been harder than he expected it to be with the Butch recruits to get them to do things his way.

How come other coaches seem to be able to instantly change the culture? 3 years in and he’s still dealing with guys who haven’t bought in?

I'm still behind Pruitt as long as he tells JG to GTFO and starts playing our other QBs and some of the freshmen.

Give him the rest of the season to see what he can do with W and Ls and with the recruiting class.

Replace a few weak links on the staff and ride with HB15 next year.

If we continue to crap the bed this year and next year, JP isn't the guy.

It’s just so ****** that we got blown out two weeks in a row. A relatively close loss to UGA and a close loss yesterday would have sucked. But we could squarely blame JG or just a wonky offseason and Stoops having a better team than we thought. But no, we got blown out twice in a row and now everyone is redneck mad and the program feels like it’s in shambles again.

Man I was pretty ticked off at 88 for giving up at about the 10yd line on the 2nd pick 6 (granted he wasn't going to make it through the 3 or 4 blockers), but where the heck was the rest of the team?
