Just saw an article that said Maurer entering transfer portal.
https://fanrunradio.com/breaking-brian-maurer-is-transferring-entering-transfer-portal-next-week/
We did exactly what we said we couldn’t do and that’s let Georgia beat us twice. Major hangover today. Very lethargic play.I want everyone to remember we were up on UGA at the half
We aren’t that far off guys
What happened since that first half?
JG Happened, look at his stats
The team quit on him tonight, they’ve had enough
I said that the other night. All the time crazy upsets happen and someone beats someone they shouldn't. But never TN. Why? Just one time
First half was like the auburn game, throw up a bunch of deep balls and they happened to land. Not a good long term strategy, as most of the rest of our games against decent teams has shown. Have to be able to do more than just throw up deep balls.I want everyone to remember we were up on UGA at the half

Yeah Aub and UK weren't really huge upsets. Im talking about the big 3.We beat Auburn and UK 2 years ago as underdogs.
We play Bama, who no one has upset in 13 years except a cheating Hugh Freeze, Auburn, and Johnny Manziel. We beat UGA two years in a row under Butch. Florida has our number. That’s about it.
It’s fair to point out the reality. Pruitt has had 2 classes here. Just 2. I don’t count that ‘17 class he had 2 weeks to throw together.
His second class are freshmen. There’s a lot of promise there, but we have had this dumb covid thing, and thus his recruits, sophomores and freshmen, have had no offseason development. That has hurt this young team. No question.
I still think we need some staff changes at certain positions, and he should’ve brought in a QB transfer, but you’re correct to point this out. We all knew there wasn’t a lot of upper class talent on this team. Our best pass rusher is a guy who wouldn’t start for any other team in the conference except the bottom teams like Vandy and others.
even when they have inside leverage, the slant is completed. The LB's should be covering those areas, but they are playing the run. leaving the slant open. It's not just slants, it's the middle of the field in general. This has been going on for years at Tennessee, even before Pruitt. It's mind boggling.
