Pruitt is our muschamp. He'll field decent defenses but will never have the offense to get his teams over the top. Just my opinion.

HB needs to get 100% of the snaps going forward starting with Bama. The plan for HB for Bama needs to be:
-70% runs
-First half of game needs to be scripted
-On passing plays get rid of the ball in under 3 seconds. Either to one of our guys or in the stands. No turnovers and don’t get HB killed

The goal is to get good experience against the best of the best without destroying HB physically and mentally.

It can be done.

I can’t believe we have just been embarrassed two weeks in a row. And it’s about to be three. We are in year three with Pruitt. This is absolutely frightening. And I will be in absolute shock if this isn’t Baileys team now. If not, Pruitt is not the guy. Butch beat UGA and Florida. We have been blown out every year by those teams and now an inferior Kentucky. Butch was not good so it is not a good outlook for Pruitt.

UF and UGA were much worse when Butch was coaching.

I disagree, getting obliterated by Bama is not a good way to start a freshman QB. After Bama, absolutely, HB and no one else. If he sucks, get him the reps for next year.

Also true. We had a helluva chance to start something special back then when they were down. It's a LOT harder now.

This is mostly my fault. I really fell in love in 2007 and it was pretty downhill after that. I will try to stop watching.

Not making excuses for Pruitt. That being said if you look at our upperclassman we are middle of the pack SEC at best. Not a lot of contributions coming from your upperclassman. Now I know some of these are Pruitt players he had to load up on from JUCO when he first got here.

FWIW I hope Palmer comes back another season. Another year of experience and a better QB will help him. Also Brandon Johnson helped himself by sitting a year and coming back.

This is terrible... I think our only real shot is to give a coach plenty of time. Can’t be firing HCs every 3-4 years. Ultimately need to hit on a good QB.

Harrison Bailey hasn't had much practice due to the covid hell, the other guys seemed pretty average and JG has the most experience. I can see why VOLS went with him, but they need to be done with him after Bama. Next year we definitely need to be much improved.
