SEC is in an interesting spot. Georgia & Bama are full of elite talent. Bama has an elite coach, Georgia seems to have a good one as well.
LSU has great talent, but without elite coaching they took a step back. Florida has better coaching than LSU & maybe even Georgia, but not at the same level talent wise.
Then ya have A&M and Auburn and arguably Tennessee next. We don’t know if our coach is Jimbo or Gus level and we’re not as deep in talent as any of them.
Kentucky is kind of on the fence. I think Mark Stoops is a really good coach. Florida State should have made that hire. And he’s got some good/great talent. They recruit well and he has great development.
We know Vandy, Missouri, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Arkansas, & Mississippi State are all a step back in talent right now and none of them have elite coaches.
Still TN with a good/great coach should be a 2-3 loss team (at worse) even Butch was able to recruit here.
