Ok, the bright side......I need to hear it.
.
Here we go underachieving with superior talent. I'm not sure there is a silver lining in this cloud.

Obviously something has to change but if 15 isn’t ready playing him might cause more damage than good to his future

Perhaps playing Maur and Bailey in tandem is the an option. Throw Maur to the wolves in that case
That’s on the coaches
JG has never been the guy and literally everyone knows it
Bailey would have been numero 1 the first day of practice for my program and we would’ve just taken the lumps at first. Yes, he lost time, but I still would’ve made him the guy right away

Yea the entire QB situation is on the coaches and that is the problem.

I simply don’t trust them to do what’s best for this program anymore.

The bright side is we still have the talent. The flip side is that talent deflated when they realized JG wasn't really being benched.

I’m all for rolling with HB but let’s be real. It doesn’t matter who we play next week. We will get throttled and our QB will probably not look good no matter who it is.

I'm convinced Tennessee should not have gone back to the pro style offense. It has not worked well at all in his 3 years. We aren't Alabama or Georgia. We can't just line up and run the ball up the middle 50 times. Chaney and Pruitt and Weinke lack creativity and development skills.

It seems like every Auburn offensive play is a broken play that has Nix scrambling outside the pocket and throwing to a diving receiver.

It start with recruiting and sadly we can’t recruit when we lose games like this.

I haven’t followed recruiting nearly as closely as I used to but it appears to me recruiting is in decent shape. Not great but solid to be in the 10-15 ranked range come signing day

Bama doesn’t even run it anymore. UGA has a great defense but their offense will be the reason they don’t win a national championship this year. They can’t score with Clemson or Bama or probably Ohio State. They could probably beat those teams any given day but they have no shot if those teams start scoring. Especially with Stetson at QB.

I always think about Ole Miss vs Bama this year.

The creativity of play design and play calling from Kiffin and Jeff Lebby in that game was impressive and effective.

We recruit well enough that we SHOULD win games like today but there are about 4 teams who age a recruiting monopoly and they’re in the playoff every year. Recruiting isn’t what it should be to be a championship level team. Our biggest issue is we have no QB. Dobbs would do wonders for us this year.
