Serious question. Is Tennessee just not the program we think it is? The 90’s are long gone. Recruiting these days basically is 4 teams racking up and making the playoff every year. The state doesn’t have much high school talent compared to UGA FL and others. Will Tennessee ever be back to even being a respectable program anymore?

Honestly, I don't believe anything anymore from the guru's and TOS. We were all told numerous times that QB JT Shrout had came along so much and was pushing JG. He doesn't even get playing time so what's up with that. Poor QB and QB development. HB is not ready. Stevie Wonder can see HB isn't ready right now mainly to not practicing before the season and way behind.

Florida is starting basically a walk-on who didn't even start in HS but is probably top 5 best QB's in college football and might even go 1st round. Shows you what QB coaching and development can do.

Hard to see with UF,UGA,and Bama doing well.

I’m out. We have let Georgia beat us 2 weeks in a row, and JG has hamstrung us for too long. Not sure the answer at QB, but it sure isn’t 2. He’s given his all, but he has nothing left to give. Give me Osovet or someone more creative on offense and someone who can get this stagnant offense some life.

I thought Pruitt was the guy for the job, but I question that a lot now. It will take a win against Bama or Florida to change my mind that we still have the right guy.

Honestly this offense doesn’t work. Sure it works if you have players like Bama but even they have switched the way they play. Chaney is either 1 completely handcuffed by an awful QB. 2 completely unimaginative and has been passed by by the game. Or 3 a combination of both. Sadly the only way you mask roster difficiencies is with scheme like Kiffin does. Ole Miss instantly puts up points in year one of a coach. Our defense has improved under Pruitt but offense is atrocious.
