This helps to understand why we got beat..

I didn't notice that before. Chaney knows UGA is blitzing on every play and getting to JG...so he has all the receivers running 10+ yards down the field on 3rd and 5? JG had no chance of success on that play. I get that some people are sick of him and they can't get over his mistakes in the past (some still stuck on sideline demeanor against GT), but anyone with a shred of common sense can see that Peyton Manning or Tom Brady would have been doomed on that play.

Its not that we can't get over his mistakes in the past, its that he continues to make the same ones over and over again.

Georgia’s game plan was as obvious as can be. It was always going to be bringing a ton of pressure almost every play. That accomplishes two things. First of all, it shuts down the run. Secondly, it forces JG to beat them. They knew that wouldn’t happen. He’s been the quarterback here for four years and has never proven he has the intangibles. They knew they would get pressure on him and calls turnovers. That strategy would backfire with great quarterback play. He would burn them two or three times and they would have to back off the pressure. My brother and I talked about it and knew exactly how this game would play out. It’s not the offensive lines fault. Georgia brought more pressure (than we have blockers) on a bunch of the plays.

In no way does “that” help me to understand why Tennessee had some many dumb penalties, mental breakdowns, and horrible turnovers.

“That” doesn’t help me to understand how Tennessee was spotted 7 points.....Georgia’s coach gave Tennessee another 10 point swing in Tennessee’s favor.....and they still lost by 23.
Yep. Kirby absolutely coached a terrible first half and the turnover disasters by UT bailed him out. Nobody talking about the bad coaching moves he made 1st half gifts to UT.
There simply isn’t an excuse!

There really isn’t; however when you know your the better team (overall), and you know your team “knows” how to win and does, and the other team is “learning”.....you can take some chances.....especially if it’s early.

Although he really shouldn’t have. Tennessee’s D certainly made him pay....but without those the game “could” have been much different even in the first half.

Putting the freshman backup in would have accomplished nothing. JG was ONCE AGAIN getting killed back there.

Where was our so-called great O line? They were MIA! That's where they were.

That line should be running stairs every damn day until they make it through a big time game without allowing a sack.

This all falls on CJP. Will he continue to value his friend Friend over quality coaching that our university and o-line needs?

Now CA wouldnt you get upset if someone said the reason you lost to your girl friend was 1) you couldn't stay in the pocket very long
2) All you had was a short game
3) you will never be on top because your always on the bottom
4)all you did was hold it
5] you had way to many "turnovers"
I see you spoke to some of my exes. 🤣

Some interesting highlights on this feed. Look at this terribly plus by JG. Who was he throwing to? Jeez!

The beginning of that play resembles the Dobbs Hail Mary. The comparison ends very quickly once the ball is snapped.

Yes, good hustle but Mays looked bad on that play.

Sad to watch. At this point we were still in the game even after two consequence UGA scores off turnovers.

Turrible by the RT. You'd like to see the QB secure the ball though.

Everyone watching knew what was coming yet no slants across the middle behind the lbs. A simple tight end release or slant gives us a chance. CJC has no trust in JG to throw the ball shallow or over the middle. This whole sh|t show has to stop. JG has no idea where his protections or hot reads should be or CJC doesn’t have them for him. Both issues must be resolved immediately. Everyone can point at the OL but, I guarantee you there has never been an online that could take the pressure that GA put on. They had no fear of JG handling their pressure. They came out and gambled with HEAVY BOX RUSH and said try and throw it. They were right and everyone will now follow.

Can’t ask for better protection!

Again terrible protection but you mean he didn't know they were blitzing? I'm guessing that was schemed by UGA because JG can't feel his blind side. Find the hot route or get rid of it.

Not sure we did much well on offense, but here are some reasons why we were beaten. Georgia’s defensive line mauled our offensive line. Our QB has to protect the ball and didn’t. The offensive game plan left a lot to be desired.

UT Offensive Line Grades

Brandon Kennedy81.8 pass block, 50.6 run block — 69 snaps — center
  • Trey Smith 69.9 pass block, 69.9 run block — 68 snaps — left guard
  • Darnell Wright 52.7 pass block, 51 run block — 67 snaps — right tackle
  • Cade Mays — 52.7 pass block, 32.9 run block — 66 snaps — right guard (1 snap at RT)
  • Wanya Morris — 39.3 pass block — 32.3 run block — 68 snaps — right tackle (1 snap at RG)
Impact on QB
  • Cade Mays — two sacks, one hit, three hurries, six total pressures and two penalties
  • Ty Chandler — two sacks, one hit, zero hurries, three pressures
  • Eric Grayone sack, zero hits, one hurry, two pressures
  • Darnell Wright — one sack, three hits, three hurries, seven pressures and two penalties
  • Wanya Morris — one sack, zero hits, three hurries, four pressures and two penalties
  • Brandon Kennedy — one sack, one hit, three hurries, five pressures and three penalties
Let’s move on and whip the Cats!

if the Oline doesn’t come out and maul Kentucky, the Vols will fall like a rock

I think it's just a caustic combination of the listed missed blocks/errors above and a chronic ball holder that historically hasn't reacted to blitzes and pressures well.
He never had time to hold the ball... No one was getting speration on looking for ball in first 2.5 seconds... No where to go with the ball. He did need to be stronger withe the ball on the first and maybe second fumble... Third he had no chance... He should have eaten the sack on the INT. But then folks would say he held it too long or didn't see blitz when it was his hot route that he pumped to that wasn't looking

JG has done this for 3 years now. You stack the box and send more than we can block and this is what you get every single time. He can't read a defense and make the correct call at the LOS. When his first target isn't available he panics.
Go back and watch the film..... Often he made the right choice and didn't have the time or the WR didn't get seperation or look early enough. .. hence the hurries hits and sacks.... He missed read on some but not as bad as people wanna believe. He also should have eaten the sack on the Int... But thought he could it off.... If he isn't hit he may have had a chance to complete the pass. Gotta be better with the ball on the first strip. No chance on the last one. Ball high and tight one second .. but DL too strong and hit it at right time. Everyone made mistakes

Wanya Morris had a good game against USCjr, but the UGA game was clearly a rough one for him.

The reasoning of calling the three "go"routes with the slot crossing is there would be no one's in the middle to cover slot.No time to even throw that. The person who said JG had 4seconds before the strip td,your timing would have Usain Bolt running a 12second 100 meters.
