Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

If it was me I would have dropped the phone and started chunking some rocks at that puma.

I was listening to XM radio Saturday morning and they had a top 10 of "bad Halloween Candy" on the sports station I was listening. I cannot remember exactly but "candy corn" was right there along with those wax "coke bottles" with liquid, circus peanuts and such. Made me laugh thinking of us boobs...lol

That was 11/12/11. I remember exactly where I was watching that game and exactly what the bartender said to me after that play. I settled up and left shortly after. I believe we were winless in the sec at the point of the season.
I am pretty sure I was at that game. I dont think I missed any home games as a student.

As a kid growing up in the 50s, I loved that stuff. Those baseball cards w/bubble gum was the best damn chewing gum on the planet. Friends I had, we'd go about trading those playing cards & gamble to see how to win more.

Cards went straight to the bicycle spokes with a clothespin.

My brother was a huge White Sox fan... I think he was 14 in 59 when the Dodgers beat the Sox 4-2 in the WS.... years later around 1980 or so we found his basball card collection.... all the Dodgers were ripped in half (Kofax, Drysdale, Duke Snyder, Gil Hodges, etc.).

And the games last 2 hours and a half, instead of three and a half.

I've said similar remarks about Alabama and Florida on multiple occasions during the last 10 years.
I had this game on a VHS and that’s where I heard it the first time. The link I posted cuts him off.... his voice was cracking as he said “they’re all a buncha no good sons a bitches”.... lol

Anybody else sit through the '73 Auburn game when we punted on first down? Miserable day, but one for the books. We were ahead when the rains came, and Auburn couldn't do anything good with the ball in the rain. Today they'd probably have to delay the game.
