Offensive Line stinks

Did you mean to use blue font about the Bama comment?

No, the Bama front 7 isnt close to Ugas. We can run, stay ahead of the sticks and sustain drives enough to stay in the game. With our personnel and philosophy, 3rd & long is our enemy. It was obvious against SCAR, but it plays into ugas hands. They are as good as it gets against the run, and they get pressure on obvious passing downs. Bama isnt built that way, anymore.

I will agree if Pruitt has the coconuts. To make a change at QB. Otherwise, it’s 45-14 Bama

O-line is good at picking on smaller d lines. They ran into a front seven full of f'ing men, tonight!!

And I am sick and freakin' tired of these skinny little scat backs we have for RB's. Can we get some grown ass men, as in over 225 pounds, to run the damn ball with authority!! Why the eff did we put Crouch at LB? He sucks at LB!! Give him the damn ball!!

The minute we couldn't run the ball, we were in trouble.
Can't rely on JG to pass on a D like this.

Sad part is, it would have been closer if we didnt have bone headed plays by him causing turnovers nor the stupid team penalties.

They played awful. That was a huge disappointment. We rushed for -1 rushing yards.

We don't have a QB on the roster that can pick up 1st downs on 3rd and forever consistantly - There isnt one in country who can against a D the caliber of UGA, that includes Trevor Lawrence. If we get behind the sticks and give up 45, it doesnt matter who plays QB.

Im no JG apologist, but after 3 games this year I still think his strengths & our offensive strengths still give us the best chance to win. That means running the ball well and consistantly, and going on sustained drives that avoid 3rd & long. Taking the occasional 1st down shot, not committing unforced penalties. We can win and are built to win this way, we just ran into a more talented team that took away our strength. Im not surprised by the outcome. We have come along way from the Butch Jones era. We will beat the teams we are supposed to beat this year, but we arent constructed to supplant a group that is superior physically and athletically yet. You need a Josh Dobbs/Johnny Manziel x-factor to do that. We aint got one right now.

With the recruiting in this area over the last several years I thought we would be much better. It’s not like we are rolling out freshman; we were absolutely dominated in the game.

JG is a .500 QB, at best. He’s Been here for 5 years and continues to make the same dumb mistakes. All he had to do was protect the ball in the second half and this game goes down to the wire, Even as bad as our O line played. He doesn‘t have Awareness to feel pressure, especially from the blind side And continues to hold the ball Too long. I would prefer to play with a QB that has some upside so he can get experience for next year.

I think they just need to keep him at RG. He doesn't have the skill set to handle the speed rush at RT. Maybe he was just out of sorts today against his former team, hopefully he'll bounce back.
This and stop the damn musical chairs with the OL so they can settle and get in sync with each other..

I hear that, I pray to God we have a QB on the roster with more upside. I see a team that could win 8 or 9 with JG, knowing his limitations, if we execute properly. I think the coaches feel the same. He was what you want him to be in the first half today. I dont think any other QB on the roster wouldve made a difference in the second half TODAY. We have to run the ball, control the LOS, and hit the occasional deep shot. I dont see any other recipe for success this year with JG or any other QB on the roster. We ran into a buzzsaw in the second half, no QB on the roster changes that.

As the OP I never denied GA’s ability I was simply saying that the TN Offensive line stinks.

While the O line stunk it up, I do think this was a combination of factors contributing to their poor performance.

They simply could not match up and often were beat by the men in front of them.
I also think they simply had a bad day as a unit. Going to happen. Unfortunately it was against a team we were trying to really prove ourselves we have made it back. It didnt happen, and it showed in the talent/depth gap.

Pruitt's got us at the level of beating the teams we should now.

Recruiting and depth will get us over the hump and we can truly say we are back in a 3 way race with UF and UGA.

Right now its UGA then UF, then UT in a distant 3rd for the east.
