We'll lose because. . .

Let’s just stay in Knoxville tomorrow <blue font>

I honestly think we can win this game. I know we haven’t exactly played powerhouses in Carolina and Mizzou, but Georgia is not that great offensively. We will most definitely have to have a ball or two bounce our way to get the win but if we can run the ball and not do anything to beat ourselves we will give ourselves a shot.

No denying Georgia is good, but watching that Auburn game last Saturday I couldn’t help but wonder to myself if Georgia is really that good, Auburn is that bad, or if it was a little of both. Auburn had no semblance of a running game, didn’t even really try. Defensively they didn’t do much and I don’t think it’s because Georgia man handled them all game.
That was one of the worst defensive games I've seen Auburn play in a while. They usually are pretty stout. They were missing tackles left and right. Hopefully we won't do the same.

The Vols will win or lose based solely on the performance tomorrow. Nothing else. They will play with dedicated student athletes giving their best. I’m sure they appreciate your support.

Sad post.
This. Game day execution will determine tomorrow’s game(and weather), not the stats avg. from the prior 2 games

Our Oline is better. JG isn’t great but I still think he’s better than the Georgia starter. We got decent pressure with four Dlinemen. I really think this is a bad matchup for Georgia.

Dont think the Vols have seen or will see a stouter, faster, deeper defense-front to back-than they will see on Saturday. Vols wont win if they cant score. Vols strongest suit is their Oline, but Dawgs front seven (or 12-13) is a little better IMHO. Be tough for Smokey to get any traction offensively. Pruitt and Co. have done a good job of stopping the bleeding that occurred during the Decade of Futility and things will continue to get better. But not this week

Fans who post on opposing teams forums are immature, trolls and simply losers. I read other teams forums but would never stoop to the level of actually posting on their forum.

True, but as much as I hate to admit it....he's right. They're deeper and more talented plus it's on their home turf. Tall order to take this game. Hope like hell it happens, but it's going to take a very special performance and a bit of luck.

We lose because...

But we never win because of him. You can’t have it both ways. Our defense isn’t the Ravens defense and he’s not Trent Dilfer. You can’t have it both ways. We’ll win or lose as a team and he’s our QB. Suck it.

We know Georgia is elite program and we are on the way up but the outcome is not certain tomorrow. He is not bringing unknown information to this forum and his just trying to rile everyone. As I stated he is an immature troll.

Vols lose, and it will not be close. UGA defense is too big, too fast, and too good. UT will not be able to impose their will, and maintain drives. UGA will not do anything extraordinary on offense. But, it will be enough to wear down the Vol defense, and win, going away. UGA 34 UT 13.
It will be the most frustrating game, offensively, all season. HB will get his first live snaps, after the games is in the bag, and all the JG or HB talk will get cranked up.
I'll go as far as to say, UT will not get 10 first downs. 2 long FG's and a late trash score.
As CJP said, "Are we there yet? No".
But, The Gators will destroy UGA.

I get what youre saying but as the level of competition goes up, the more exposed the deficiencies become. Its easier to "hide" weaknesses on your team when you play mediocre to bad teams but the really good teams expose you.

I am and always will be a Vol fan. But, I am also a realist, and hopefully, not delusional, like the majority of you, looking through your Orange-tinted glasses.

We may lose but I don’t think a blowout is likely unless JG absolutely stinks the place up. You are acting like we have not closed the gap at all from last year and we absolutely have. What a downer you are, about the most pessimistic I have seen in this forum. Georgia is not infallible and we do have a chance to win even if it is less than 50/50. Confidence by the team as a whole can make a difference. Georgia looking forward to Alabama can make a difference. Our players individually and as a team simply putting forth a better or more inspired effort than Georgia tomorrow can make a difference. The rain can make a difference. Opportunistic turnovers can make a difference. No one here is reasonably guaranteeing a win that I am aware of but Tn may win if things lineup tomorrow in our favor. Georgia may win the game on paper but you still have to play the game.

Edit: Another way we might win the game. Superior coaching and game planning.

You are right. Alot of things will have to go our way, tomorrow. And we have closed the gap. They beat us by 31 last year. They'll beat us by 21 this year. Next year, we may get it down to single digits. Doesnt matter, Florida is going to f'ing steamroll us and The Dawgs. Then Bama is going to freight-train The Gators.

I’m really not trying to be mean but if we lose it’ll almost certainly be because if the qb position. He’s the greatest weakness in the team. And even with JG being a 5th year player uga almost certainly has the better qb. The thing that’s so frustrating about that is there are almost certainly QBs on our roster better than him. I think if any of the 3 backups were given the same opportunities as jg they’d be better at this juncture
