Trying to keep this Apolitical...

There's a senate candidate from a certain party in NC that recently got caught sexting his mistress in California...Cal Cunningham..then she admitted that they have had sex in person...thing is, Cal is a Lt.Col in the army reserve....and the lady he was banging is married to a Leutenant that is a disabled paratrooper. Read today that her husband is calling for Cal to drop out of the race, which he refuses to do. Husband is also demanding ole Cal be prosecuted under the UCMJ, court martialed for cheating with another soldiers wife, a fellow officer at that...

There is a commercial for slimy Cal about every 10 minutes on TV and Radio because his party is trying to take control of the Senate by winning NC, so they have poured many millions into his campaign....ole Cal may be up sheits creek though, the UCMJ doesn't play...he may get stripped of rank at the bare minimum. Not sure about Army, could he be dishonorably discharged or sent to jail over this? It is high profile, so definitely reflects poorly on the Army...they will not appreciate that...

The Army is full of dysfunctional personnel. I’ve seen some with pink helmets jump out of perfectly good airplanes.

Flying is better than walking. Walking is better than running. Running is better than crawling. All of these however, are better than extraction by a Med-Evac, even if this is technically a form of flying.

BTW one last thing to remember about fuel metering and engines. Carburetors suck and fuel injection blows.

Such things rarely reach court martial level. Not without something pretty serious to go with it at least.

However, such things can earn an Article 15 which is a death knell to any Officer's career and they get drummed out of the service quickly.

Having said that to say this adultery is one of the hardest charges to prove even with texts. You pretty much have to catch them in the act to make it stock.

One of her comments said "loves to get oral" not sure what site it was posted on but damn. What kind of married woman is openly soliciting sex like that? She's damaged goods now, her husband needs to send her up the road...empty handed since she cheated. Feel sorry for her husband honestly. His whole life just got wrecked blindside style ...

Even with her confession to meeting for sex, and I would assume corroborating evidence of both of them being in whatever city? Article said she came to NC at least once to see him....from 3000 miles away in Cali

I dont care about court martial, but I would like to see him get a dishonorable, or administrative separation ....

If the womans husband was separated from the military and he wasn't on duty or in an official capacity I doubt they even give it a look.
