I paid attention to how far off that kick was yesterday, good kickers don’t have kicks like that. He’s not hitting the ball well no matter how you want to slice it. I’ll
Give you last week but even that is pushing it, kicks in a game are never like practice that’s why I don’t like blaming it on a
Guy out of the corner of his eye. Unless they get right on top of you or block it, it shouldn’t effect you that much. I mean we’re talking about a d 1 kicker for goodness sakes
I doubt seriously he could possibly make that adjustment. Part of the art of place kicking is to block those distractions from the mind.

What? Georgia’s good but we are infinitely better, just wait and see.

FYP

Also, for any VFLs that currently reside in Georgia, your mission is to disable their light show and crowd noise generators.

My suggestion: Orange and White lights and crowd noise replaced with Rocky Top...has to be done Friday night Mission Impossible style. Oh, and most importantly the lights snd music has to be remote controlled by a VFL so the option of not playing isn’t available to the dawgs. Now, the overriding system that you install must be tamper proof for at least 48 hours. 😎

Anyone get the feeling we’ve been saving our tight ends in the passing game? We’ve pretty much kept it basic with throws to the outside.

We don’t have any of the kinds of TE’s that you throw to. We’ve got second string OL changing jerseys so we can field a jumbo package. Now they are doing a great job, but there is a reason we’re likely signing 3 TE in the 2021 class.

Bama scored 52 points on 55 offensive plays. That's a crazy stat and they only had the ball for 22 minutes the entire game. How's that possible?

Aggies defense is not really good. It must be making their older fans miserable.

Aggie defense used to be called The Wrecking Crew. Of course that was before they joined the SEC...😁

I know we had this discussion last week but I am getting old

is 93 Locklear ?

No. If we win Saturday we should be a top 5 team.

1. Bama
2. Clemson
3. Florida
4. Notre Dame
5. Tennessee
Notre Dame is fools gold. So is Florida. Bama has no run game to speak of. If we can't get our secondary fixed, we are going to have a tough season. Hopefully Shamburger coming back helps shore up the issues.

Bama is a pass happy team now....Bama has averaged 350+ passing yards per game against 100 rushing yards. Got to make them beat you on the ground this year. Their receivers are scary fast.

our secondary is fine it’s our pass rush that is hurting them
Agree. We just need a lucky health streak from Bennet and Johnson. I think they can become solid Pass rushers but there’s not much behind them so we need them on the field.

Do you think we rotate too much on the DL?

it’s my impression no other team rotates seemingly every play like we do.

Nah. I don’t think we have a pass catching threat there. I don’t expect much production in terms of pass catching from that spot. May be able to leak one up the seam tho eventually and catch someone napping

Congratulations to Sam Pittman, the Hawgs, and Hawg fans for breaking that 20 game SEC losing streak, and doing it early in Pittman's first season, which should help shake that loser mentality and give them some confidence going forward. I don't know much about his staff overall, but he made really good coordinator hires with Art Brile and Barry Odom. Pellini was stubborn last week and continued to keep his secondary in man-to-man coverage and paid for it. Odom played zone defense and kept the receivers in front of his secondary and avoided the huge YAC that killed LSU. That forced the MSU offense to sustain drives, which it was unable to do, especially in the redzone, when you don't know how to run the ball.
