Seriously, I have a lot of regret for players that played for us under those two. Feel like they got robbed of what it truly means to be a Vol. Our university failed them by hiring incompetent coaches. We talk about us fans deserving better, those players deserved better. Some guys shine naturally, and some guys need to be polished. Those staffs did nothing to help develop those players IMO.

I'm right there with ya. Definitely a lot of talent got wasted. Either from not receiving the coaching they desired or not receiving the coaching they needed.

So many players from the Dooley and Butch era's that I wish could have had the benefit of this coaching staff. I think a lot of potential talent got wasted.

I will go to my grave believing that if Bray had a staff like this one that he could have been an absolute super star.

I just wanted to note two things about today’s game 1) we rushed for 200+ yards against an SEC defense. I can remember quite a few SEC games over the last decade where we rushed for like 30 yards.
2) we held Missouri to 12 POINTS! I feel like the first several years Mizzu player in the SEC they were torching us with points scored in the 30s, 40s, 50s(?). Today we held them to twelve freaking points.
