Yes but there is a difference between “we need to have quicker play by the safety” and “Jesus we suck on defense even Vandy is going to shred us”Even when fans voice their concern without resorting to extreme negative remarks, a significant portion of those in the game threads immediately lose theirand start "don't talk about my team like that" response.
It's old and has been going on for years.
I agree with your overall point and no doubt Bazelak looked impressive today and looks more impressive than Mathis so far. That doesn’t mean Bazelak is better though. They’re both freshmen. Check back on that comparison in 3 years and we will see. I agree that stars aren’t everything though. Here’s something interesting for the “star gazers”. Conner Bazelak was a mid 3* qb in the 2019 class. D’wan Mathis (Georgia) was a high 4* QB in the same class. Who would you rather have?
the consensus was that tennessee would probably win. The general debate was whether or not tennessee would cover the 10ish point spread. Not many people Seriously mentioned expecting a 23 point win. So no it was not expectedQuestion @GAVol after theses two performances, you think we can compete at a high level against UGA,FL, AL?
I’m happy for the win, I want to see us beat the teams that get us to better than 6-4.
you have to admit that this outcome was expected

Yes. UT is a much more talented team top to bottom. However, at the beginning UT had several things fall their way and Missou had a few penalites in key places. One which would have resulted in a mid field turnover. Later, there was another dropped pass where the Missou receiver embarrased two UT DBs to be streaking wide open. I'm not simply looking at this game, but how those weaknesses will be expose against better teams. Missou was a 10+ point underdog for a reason. They are not good. Just like Bama won last week, it exposed huge problems they have. I doubt Bama fans were saying a win is a win. UT is closer to Bama than Missou is close to UT, when it comes to talent and situation right npw. You've lost your mind. We've controlled this whole game.
Considering where we’ve been, I’ll take 2-0 playing an SEC only schedule any day. There’s plenty of season left but We’ve all seen a hell of a lot worse.Nice to start a season 2-0 for a change. I don't care if it's only SC and Mizzou. Pleased that JG played a clean game, no picks, no really dumb decisions, made some throws when he needed to. Hes playing better than I honestly expected him to this year. Not great, but good enough. Ive not been happy with his play for most of his career, but pleaasantly surprised so far this year. Still need to see him perform well against the big boys, as we will next week, but happy with the improvement so far. And very happy with improvement in OL
