Nothing like 70s am radio. Probably late 90s I got home late after dranking and the time life 70s am gold infomercial was on. I bought it. 5 easy installments.

I remember WHBQ and Rick Dees! Other than a spell in 1956 or so when Daddy was in Korea, I never really lived in Memphis, but I learned the stations for when we visited.

I was hired to work in the Goldsmith’s on Poplar record department for Christmas around 1974 or so, which Daddy rightly pointed out was like setting the fox to watch the chickens. My paycheck just about broke even with purchases.

Nat King Cole or Tony Bennett are excellent to listen to on a cool Autumn night, while reading a good book. Lord, I miss doing that.

Petition to move Dopplegangers thread to the zone. It would be a lot more fun in the confines of our safe space.
