Small only needs to touch the ball in scrub duty. Hodge in short yardage. Chandler and Gray have home-run potential and do not need carries taken away. I do agree about Holliday and Velus.

One on her chest is growing rapidly...from pimple size to over a dime size in 2 weeks. The earliest they can get her in at the cancer center is October 19. Lymphoma runs in the family. We are trying to get her to go through the ER in Murfreesboro or at Vanderbilt, but she is a stubborn teenager that is still trying to come to grips with the possibility. I know the feeling lol. I had some palisades laid down recently. Very happy with it.

Just read the missouri game thread thus far.

The number of people over-estimating what DeAndre Johnson is capable of is mind boggling.

I mean, I'm not being a hater - but the guy suddenly isn't Derek Barnett. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if he ended the year with 5-6 sacks total.

Don't get me wrong - I'm rooting for the young man every snap to kill the QB, but he's never shown that he could. He crushed that group of 5 QB whos probably never experienced SEC speed before and has limited to no mobility... but I'm going to need to see a lot more before I start calling for him to get an inane number of sacks each week.

IMO the best pass rusher on this team remains Kivon Bennett. Come year end, it might be one of the freshman. I'll happily eat crow on this thread if DJ has another 2+ sack game this year.

Counterpoint is that typically only one edge guy gets to speed rush off the edge on passing downs and that guy has been DT for DJs entire career here. That being said SC’s offensive line is butt so we’ll see. I don’t expect him to sustain that performance
