2020 Presidential Race

And my favorite line of the day.

Ari Fleischer: "The President had the best line of the night when he said 'I've done more in 47 months than you've done in 47 years.' That was a pretty good way to sum everything up." https://t.co/NuWfUWGK36

Lib logic...lets complain about where we are currently and vote for a guy who put us here...Brilliant.

So blatantly obvious from the first minute that Chris was biased. I know I've heard a lot of people say they wish Trump would tone it down and be nicer. While I myself would also like to see that, I dont blame him at all for wanting to tear them apart. After he's had to deal with all of the lies and the investigations the past 3 years, Trump owes nobody from the left (particularly from the previous administration) one ounce of kindness.

LOL! Why did he tell them to "stand by" last night? That is Classic Trump. He also denied knowing who David Duke was in 2016, when he was asked to denounce him. Previous interviews from the late 90's showed that to be a lie. Trump is always very reluctant to denounce anyone who supports him... regardless of who they are. He proves this all the time. He will usually start by denying that he knows who they are.

I think he misspoke and didn't meant anything by it honestly. What did you think about Biden saying "Antifa is just an idea"??

As Biden explained at the time (it wasn't easy to hear, because Trump was talking over him), Biden was just quoting what FBI Director, Christopher Wray, told Congress two weeks ago. Wray, is of course, a Trump appointee.

You can give Trump the benefit of the doubt for misspeaking, but he has a history with this exact thing: Showing a reluctance to denounce bad actors who he knows support him, and then later claiming that he doesn't know who they are. This was a repeat of the David Duke situation from 2016.

Exactly! Kamala is disgusting, but there's no need for you to be rude about it.
After that performance last night, it should leave little doubt who I was talking about. Begins with a T and rhymes with rump. And, for a full 90 minutes, he showed his. I’m sure all of his toadies are very proud today. Nothing like showing your butt to the world and embarrassing this country.

I agree it was very hard to hear at times. It would have done Trump good to just let Biden talk sometimes and see what kind of a hole he digs for himself but Trump actually bailed him out a few times. As far as the comment on Antifa, I knew he was repeating what Wray said but I took it as Biden saying he agrees with what Wray said.

Who believes him?

That is the exact same thing Trump did with David Duke. He never denounced him, and would only say that he didn't know who he was... despite video evidence from 1999 to the contrary. Trump knows that he has the support of the right-wing lunatic fringe and he doesn't want to lose it. Their votes count the same as a church choirs.

Yes. The odds of Biden making a gaffe were much greater than Trump ever saying something worthwhile, but since Trump wouldn't let him talk, there was never any concern of that happening. It also became incredibly irritating to listen to, and I do believe that the majority of objective observers blame Trump for how unwatchable that was.

What he meant was for us to lock and load, just in case. We understood.

Rhetoric is immaterial to people paying attention. Always been there. When rhetoric becomes action, is when I start paying attention and we have crossed the threshold.
Not the kind of rhetoric that Trump speaks; not from the President anyway. Calling on his supporters to go down and watch the polls? What is that, if it's not a tactic of voter intimidation? The average American voter doesn't have a trained eye to be able to identify voter fraud when they see it, and are much more likely to harass eligible voters without cause when instructed to look for it.

There is not a depth to which Trump won't sink. Trump has such an unrefined nature. His supporters have mistaken this coarseness for strength. Trump behaved like a spoiled, selfish, attention-starved child last night. There is nothing tough about that.

THIS ^^^^ .... is a key reason as to why Trump is so popular with his base. They will look at these two pictures, and think that Obama is the racist because not all of those minority kids could possibly have been picked on their own academic merits.

He was/is a racist. We all are to a degree. You think Obama cared about your scrawny little butt?
