Can relate, I'll take endless JG debate in season over the other crap this thread sees popup when we're not in season lol

We have Maurer and Shrout though. Are they not more capable than JG? If so, why aren’t they starting? If not, then that’s a total recruiting fail.

HB could be the answer but it’s probably too early to throw him out there. If the coaches think he is the answer then we need to get him some garbage time snaps ASAP, but we can’t score enough points with JG! Catch-22

Also @ChattaTNVol great post as always.

I feel like Chaney adjusted his play calling in the 2nd half. First half just 8 rushes by RBs, 2nd half 21 (6 on the first TD drive)

The secondary seemed to have a lotta bodies being used, probably from missing so many reps this off-season the staff wanted to get some tape on guys. Bryce/Taylor starting at CB is probably the plan moving forward, nearly every big catch by Shi Smith #5 (George Jr.) got toasted on.

JT was a Helton recruit, Maurer I think has potential but he's also had some SERIOUS injury issues. I think if he can ever manage to get/stay healthy he could push for reps...unfortunately for him I'm not sure that'll happen fast enough with Bailey on campus already and Salter committed.

Hard to get a QB ready when you have no spring ball and most of your team is missing large chunks of fall camp. But for JTS and BM, their biggest issues have been understanding defenses and being able to align the offense properly based on the call and what the defense is doing. It's up to QBs to learn the playbook and watch video. I've no reason to suspect the QBs aren't doing that, so if they aren't able to learn it then they are simply not P5 level QBs.

Living with an alcoholic is it's own special hell. My uncle destroyed his family and finally drank himself to death. Prayers sent for you and your family.

Lol no problem at all. I would like all of my own posts if I could. I think it's cool you try to lift people up when they post instead of tearing them down like most of us do.
