Best they can tell it was dust/sawdust/debris from the new roof falling down into the heating unit and burning off. Had a nice haze upstairs. I thought for sure we were watching an electrical fire.

Yeah it was wild. Sound woke me up but it was doubling up through the baby monitor so it was a high pitched constant. Wife went to go check and started screaming. Jumped up, got every body and dogs outside. Went upstairs and had a nice layer of smoke. Checked everything I could see, changed clothes and got outside. FD scanned the house for over an hour.

Fortunate and happy everything is okay but kinda wish I had a more concrete answer on the smoke.

We were always going to carry 3 catchers.

I don't think you can replace an injured player with a call up during a playoff series. Maybe between series, but not sure.
Big risk with only 2 catchers if one gets injured or sick especially early in the first game.

If somebody is injured you can replace them on the roster but they have to sit out the following series if you advance.

Thanks. I just knew you couldn't make any immediate changes to the playoff roster. That rule takes away possibility of teams calling up 4 fresh arms for a bullpen game if their starters suck.
