Father, we pray for healing and peace within SaS family and friends. In particular, may your Spirit enter into the hearts and minds of the family members of SaS to lead them to give in and trust your will for their lives. We pray that they seek help for their medical issues. May the friend of SaS be comforted in her time of grief. Importantly, may SaS be granted peace, strength, and wisdom as she helps all of them. Please say a prayer for my friend Mac Davis,his beautiful family, and . he passed away tonight after heart surgery complications. He was all Texas Tech but he attended some Vols home games in the past few years and got some pictures made with SmokeyX.

I would appreciate some prayers y'all. My best friend's husband was killed in a car crash a week ago. My 19 year old niece has knots on neck, chest and underarms. One on her chest is growing rapidly...from pimple size to over a dime size in 2 weeks. The earliest they can get her in at the cancer center is October 19. Lymphoma runs in the family. We are trying to get her to go through the ER in Murfreesboro or at Vanderbilt, but she is a stubborn teenager that is still trying to come to grips with the possibility. Plus my husband that is an alcoholic is missing more and more work. Was to drunk when he got up today to go. @VolsDoc81TX @Ulysees E. McGill any advice would be appreciated

Agreed, but depends on size and location of the tear. It can make shoulder dislocation much easier, if that’s the case, it has to be fixed.

I don’t want this to be a JG debate. It’s not JGs fault he’s mediocre but keeps starting. He shouldn’t be the best option at this point. In year 3 we should have better options at that position. That responsibility lies with the HC. He’s improved the team everywhere else but handicaps himself by not finding a suitable QB replacement that’s capable of high level SEC football. We’re essentially handcuffed until JG is replaced.

JG historically performs decent against USCe and Missouri but after that it’s big boy football and just managing the game won’t be enough to win against the higher tier teams.

You don't want this to be a JG debate BUT let me go ahead and debate JG.

They had him in an arm brace. Didn’t look like a shoulder brace so I’m doubting it was his Labrum. Could be wrong though.

Update on my folks...good news and bad news...bad news first..

My stepmom is in pretty bad shape, and they have Dad monitoring her oxygen constantly, if it drops below a certain level she will have to be hospitalized..at this point has been up and down..she was sick for over a week before going to the doctor, so she is at least eight-nine days in now.

Good news is...Thank God my Dad tested negative.

This disease is weird and makes no sense whatsoever.

I am pretty ticked at her because she totally ignored my begging them to take heavy duty immune system supplements months ago.

It is amazing, even with healthy family and friends, how many people ignore the truth regarding this. They will ask you how you keep from getting sick or you seem healthy, yet, when you tell them what you are doing and suggest they check it out they do nothing.

Glad for the negative test and hope your stepmom recovers.

I played golf with him in a scramble put on by Vince Gill about 10 years ago. He was a really nice and funny guy, and our group had a good time that day. Sorry for your loss.

@VolsDoc81TX For 2-3 weeks my left knee, just below the kneecap, is slightly swollen, has slight discomfort when I bend it, hurts a good bit upon standing if I’ve been sitting down for a while, and hurts like a MFer if I have to kneel down and put weight on it. I’m sure there’s a thousand things it could be, but do you have any thoughts? Should I go see an Ortho or give it a while and see what happens?

Could have strained your patella tendon by kicking doors after JG threw so many high throws on Saturday
