3 of our receivers received really solid grades - BJ 1st, with Velus and Palmer riiight behind him. Unfortunately, Keyton had the 2nd most targets at 7, but had the lowest receiving grade on the entire team.

All in all, it looks huge now that Brandon opted to take the voluntary RS and that we went out and identified Velus. Absolutely excellent by the staff to identify a future weakness and address it a year in advance.

Keyton will be fine. Also...where was Tillman? Maybe buried under Hyatt and Keyton? Maybe he'll get some PT this week. Like his upside.

Big if when everything we've heard says Shrout is the clear #2.

What really sucks is we have no FCS/G5s to just run the entire QB room out there. Mizzou, Ark, and Vandy are the only decent shots at getting down to QB3/4 it would seem.
Yes. I'm sure LSU wished they may have had some QB2s play last year instead of running up the score. Burrow throwing TDs when up by 28 points instead of QB2s playing. I believe Bama could have beat Mizzou by 35, but they brought in B Young.

tillman played a little bit

I originally didn’t think he played at all until the end but he was in on the JG scramble in the first half

How did Young do?

Brandon Johnson remembered that pass that went through his fingers for the would be win against South Carolina in 2018. Granted it was one of JG’s patented bazooka shots from close range. He was NOT going to let that happen again though.

The catch is really quite incredible.
