We were pretty much united until the left started calling GW Bush, Hitler and started all the protests with you lame chants. “Bush lied, soldiers died” Then came along barrack hussein who made it cool to hate cops, made the poor hate the rich, pushed for blacks to hate white people and embraced a radical religion who wanted us all dead

I just never want to hear another word challenging the bona fides of a candidate based on their religion or lack there of. That includes Muslims and atheists. The Christian Right's embrace of Trump has laid bare what we've know for years: the whole religion thing for the Right is--and has always been--a charade for them. It was a way to get and maintain power over poor and gullible people. That's it.

Atheist is not a religion . You don’t know many southern democrats do you ? You are cute thinking The Bible Belt is made up of Republicans .

Does anybody here really think we will get anything more than baseless attacks and soundbites from both candidates at the debate? I seriously doubt any substance will be discussed or a single mind will be changed.

Debates have completely flipped the election in the past. Reagan did it but Trump ain't no Reagan. :) If Biden has mental breakdowns on camera it might move the needle a lot. I also think Trump needs to defend his positions well because Chris Wallace will come after him.

As a Conservative that would never support a leftist candidate no, but for many in the middle, I could see them changing right up to the day they vote.

I propose all future debates are conducted with the candidates wearing dog shock collars and attached electronically to a lie detector.

Now I would absolutely watch those debates.

You could make a case if these same groups weren't doing the same thing in Ferguson, Occupy Wall Street, etc. The only difference now is that liberal mayors/governors and the media are more vocal in supporting them and allowing their unlawful behavior to continue
