09282020 Big Orange Hotline highlights with Bob Kesling, Pat Ryan, & Jeff Francis. Special guest: The Chief. In the audience: Bobby Scott.

The crew recapped the SC game and talked a bit about Guarantano’s performance. Jeff noted the TD pass to Palmer was a good pass. Pat said that was an easy pass to make, even he could make that pass. He said if you can’t make that pass you might as well just go ahead and go sit on the bench.

Jeff said the pass earlier on that same drive to Brandon Johnson was well placed as Brandon was tightly covered. He said that Guarantano shows a lot of resiliency in that after making one or more bad passes he comes back and makes a good pass to which Pat quipped that he’s had a lot of experience doing that so it’s not all that surprising. This was all light hearted.

All in all they didn’t think we did too bad last Saturday but they pointed to the obvious things everyone else has that we need to clean up.

The analyst for the Missouri broadcast team joined the show via phone to preview the tigers for this coming Saturday. He said basically the same thing that I posted from the Missouri message board earlier today. They’re struggling along the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Deandre Johnson may end up as defensive lineman of the week two weeks running. jmo.

It was a fun show and all 3, Bob, Jeff, and Pat, said they see Tennessee getting the win this Saturday. I do too. jmo.
