So I realized we dropped in the ranking Sunday night. I'm glad because it will give this team more motivation. We covered the spread on the road against a team ranked in the top 35 preseason of every major publication. Meanwhile, other teams jumped by beating teams ranked 50 or worse and either barely covering, or failing to cover. Football has changed. Offense brings the rankings. Oh well, beat Missou!

We moved up to 16th from 25th when they dropped the PAC-12 and Big 10 out due to not playing. Now that they've been added back in, we're at 21. So we actually picked up four spots with the win over USCjr.

If you have it on dvr, it's at the :45 mark 2nd Q. Their RB CLEARLY is in the end zone and the refs just wait till he's pushed back out and call him down...then they "review" it while everyone knows it is a full yard over the goal line (along with his entire body)...they come back and said the call stands...zero explanation.

Here is the photo, one circle is around the ball, the other is the guy's helmet. Literally his entire body was in the end zone...

Yep not a fan either but they got hosed bad, very next play their qb throwed an interception and Auburn took it to the house. But Auburn got hit with a targeting penalty 🤷‍♂️

I only noticed Big O in on one play. It was with 13:22 to go in the second quarter right after Henry's pick six. He threw his blocker to the ground and made the tackle. He may have only played one snap, but man did he flash. Think about the talent we're going to have in 2 years when Pruitt's first full class are seniors. Baron, Big O, Slaughter are going to be really, really good. Just wait until the rest of these boys play. Future is so bright. We're going to take over GA in the east. If we can get over the hump against Florida, decade of the Vols is happening

It was a good win. I expected rust. I expect sloppiness. How could you not when you had scrimmages canceled, when you had so many players missing multiple practices because of COVID and contact tracing? It was always going to be a game they'd have to gut out. And had a few more third down throws connected, it would've been a blowout. I just don't think we're as far away as some do. The Missouri game will be a great data point.
