Sorry I got excited.

He didn’t play at the beginning of the game. I also stated he didn’t look hobbled. So the, “being injured” before the game was weird to me. Wonder what really happened.....

From the way Pruitt stated it postgame, he seemed to allude to Burrell and Flowers both getting very little PT during camp due to contact tracing rules. So I think it was more that than imjury-related.

Edit: I meant Burrell rather than Tank, so edited to correct.

I've watched this at least 10 times and while we had a number of big plays in the game I think AT's blocking for HT is the thing that stuck out the most for me. He was awesome. jmo.

I made my BiL rewind that three times to watch..that was some of the best blocking I have ever seen by one man on a return. He was almost solely responsible for Henry getting to the EZ.

Stealing from the FF - good post:

Just thought it would be interesting to go back and watch the game and chart the throws to see how JG ended up with decent to good stats but we were only 1 of 12 on 3rd downs. (* = would have converted 3rd down)

So based on the bad throws and how open the WR was, JG missed six 3rd down conversions to open WRs so that 1 of 12 could have easily been 6/7 of 12. Almost all of his bad throws were on 3rd down and that was a huge difference in this game. The game is not close if hit those 3rd down passes.

Unless the receiver was in the backfield or JG is the second coming of Jeff George, I'm not buying this one:

23. incomplete (open, too hard)*

There was one as well where Keyton dropped it that would have converted late in the game. The same drive where we called 3 passes and no runs when we could have bled clock.
