Put Bailey in let him get some live game reps, and see what he can do. Being that this year won't burn any eligibility. Thoughts? I'll hang up and listen. GBO!

14 points is still a game.
With Pruitt in the mix it is

I think you will see CJP stay with our regular offense for an extended time in this game. I still do not have enough confidence to assume we will have a "blow out" lead (see Ta&m Vandy). Lets remember. Our offense needs ALL the work it can get because of missed time this fall. That was clearly evident Saturday and if that means still running our offense with, say, a 3 TD lead then I think we should get all the game time we can for our ones and backups. I could be stone cold wrong here but doubt we will see HB play many meaningful snaps for several games. He REALLY missed out on a lot of practice/film study time. Yeah I think he's the QB of the future but I'm sure he still has a ways to go to manage an SEC football game. Now that's just my opinion and nothing more. If he takes over Saturday and becomes the man I'll be as excited as anyone!

Anyone could play if we get a 24+ pt lead. That would be a pleasant surprise. I felt that was possible Saturday night, but too many wasted opportunities and execution errors.

A 19 point loss to bama was not a bad opening game. Out scored bama's reserves in the second half. Tigers played hard the whole game.

We will not see another QB this week.

It's all part of JG's master plan to prevent HB from seeing the field. He won't play well enough to ever to get a large enough lead and let that happen.

I dont care if its Shrout, Maurer or Bailey - we need to get up far enough in this game so we can get the backup QBs some playing time before the murderers row begins. Maybe Pruitt things that JG needs all the extra reps he can get with his WRs because of limited practices and to hopefully get a rhythm but I confess I am not confident in the success of that strategy.

Bailey is the future. Not Shrout, not Maurer, they are serviceable at best.
Since this year won't burn eligibility, I feel that if Maurer or Shrout, possibly both, don't get playing time, they are gone next year.

Yeah we'd need to be up by at least 4 TDs before we see a backup QB in. I'd be okay with seeing some backup RBs and OL get time after a 3-TD lead and being quite run-heavy, but not a straight up QB change.
