A two game academic suspension seems unlikely. That would come solely from Pruitt and I don’t see him making such a harsh discipline decision

For some of your more technical football junkies it appeared to me our OL splits were really narrow Saturday. Seemed different to me from last year


anyone else see that and if so what is the reasoning??

If JG cleans up the overthrows he is going to have a great year because our receivers were wide open all night against a solid secondary. Palmer looks like the real deal.

Thanks man. Yea it was epic. To be honest with you he been making catches like that in practice for years. He kinda just had to wait his turn to be showcased.

We are a 24pt tops offense with JG at qb. We will beat bad teams closely and not stand a chance vs bama and the other top teams. He's still slow on reads, very slow release and is not consistent. He hasn't figured it out in 5 years, I've got zero confidence he can. Hope I'm wrong. Seems like it would be a great year to play Bailey tho.

Academics angle never made sense to me. Once our crew gets you in, they set a plan and push you through. Nothing’s impossible of course.

There’s too much dirty behind the scenes things going on. UGA and Alabama were gifted their schedules to protect them. When you’re a darling of the league you get special treatment. I hope Mays is cleared today but imagine KS is doing his best to prevent it.

Yep any academic issue would be internal at this point. No such thing as a 1-2 game NCAA penalty.

I think wide splits are mostly used to help neutralize a pass rush. Wide splits open up pass lanes and also causes the DE to travel further to get to the QB. I am guessing that our coaches felt confident we could neutralize their pass rush.

The more narrow splits make it easier for the line to block as a unit. It makes double teams and easier for the lineman to get up and block LBs at the second level. Our coaches probably thought we could over power their front 7.

His biggest help was the QB running from Bennett all game.
