Actually JG fits into pruitt defense 1st philosophy...doesnt mean there isnt a better QB sitting that can score more points, just mean CJP prefers safe..and he will till it bites him in the ass

He was 4 of 7 in the 2nd half as the defense tightend and we ran more..he also split a drive with JG...thought it was a road game. My bad i was thinking bama...

As bad as JG can be, he's miles better than Maurer at this point in time. Is what it is. Can't have a QB out there throwing back to back redzone picks.

CJP prefers experience over youth at QB.....thats cool...I believe there us more talent on the bench....Flordia didn't know till franks got hurt how good trask was.....but Trask didn't fit the scheme at the time

CJP prefers the best QB for the team. Promise. When JG was playing abysmal he had no problem benching him did he? There were times Mauer was the guy for the team last year, it ain't the case right now though. Or he would be playing. It's quite simple logic

So you show me total season stats..pointing to poor play that includes garbage mins....

I show you play vs top 25 team in which 1 QB outplayed the other and I don't know what im talking about???? Riiiiiight

I'm not complaining about JG. We won the game. But, I was surprised we didn't see Shrout get some reps. Maybe next week?

This is simple: Pruitt knows he needs to limit turnovers and he has a shot in most every game. His other options

Mauer - look at the TD to INT ratio
HB - zero experience

If JG had those high throws under control he would’ve looked great. Instead, he still orchestrated a pretty decent day.

If our offense scores in the twenties, we won't win against teams which score in the thirties and forties. Yes, we need more consistent production from the QB. We also need a reliable O-line that creates space for a ground game.

I agree no coach is perfect. As for Fields, the cheerleaders at Ohio St are in the discussion for the Heisman. Just one of the Ohio St perks. I don't think we will be great with JG under center. But, I don't think Bailey is ready yet. The biggest reason JG is playing is because he takes care of the ball better than the options we have that are ready.

Your sample is so small it’s BS. We all saw what he did every other time he played.... is he your big brother or something ?

My sample size was was over half your size. 75 vs 46....both small..difference is i dont see agame where he attempted 3 passes or less as a good indication of ability...thats why i went top 25.....both played all 3 teams....the toughest we faced all season and who played better
.....what is your daughter the one the broke up with BM so now tou dont like him too..see i can be a childish fool too

Maurer has little experience period compared to JG. You’re grasping at straws out of desperation at the QB position. There isn’t a great option there

Not straws just basing my opinion on the fact that while a QB with years of college playtime couldnt put points on the board vs our top 25 games but a true freshman with 13 passes total could......there is a option that CJP trusts beside JG right now..
