2020 Presidential Race

You don't say?.
I do say.
Which only leaves what possible reason?
He has never felt moved to publicly support a candidate before, and now he is supporting someone he's not that excited about....wow!!!!!! Think about that.....he represents millions.

Has he broken some law? Or are you just crying “it’s not fair!!”
He has tax people who are skilled at following the rules to minimize taxes. Nothing illegal about maximizing your deductible and minimizing liability. That’s exactly what I do.
I put the fault squarely on the people like Biden who’ve been thee for decades and made these laws.

A national consumption tax with no exemptions solves the problem but then the government cannot reward and punish with the tax code.

There’s just no way you’re highly educated
You're putting the fault on Biden for tax codes that benefit the wealthiest?
Wrong party..........

It's not a big deal to me. As I mentioned earlier the left always seem to do this with Hollywood. I am sure there has been tremendous pressure. The left begs for these types of endorsements. It doesn't take much courage to do this. Most people reject Hollywood.

I guess I can't blame you for trying to avoid the point.
I just hope enough Trumpers are reasonable enough to insist he concedes when he loses.

I've noticed when I don't have my glasses on that Joe Biden looks like Al Sharpton. Small shoulders. Frail. Slick back hair.

I go between it's going to be a harsh night for liberals like the last 4 years to helping you talk up your chances just so you feel that much worse.

So you're not going to be one of the Trumpers insisting he do the right thing and concede?

I’m far from a Trump guy. I will say it’s been enlightening to see how the establishment will come after a man they deem to be outside their approved norms. Politics is literally cancer and America is in stage 4.
We can cut out the mass in Nov. and then start treatments.

Exactly. People making 50k and paying a few thousand dollars are going to wonder how Trump has billions (or so he says) and pays nothing or less than a thousand.

Answers like "its complicated" aren't going to cut it.

Not everyone making 50k a year is stupid and realizes that if any of this is accurate Trump is more of the rule than the exception when it comes to billionaires.

That would leave a non-stupid person with the conclusion that the rich do not pay their fair share.
I thought the right has been trying to say that the rich pay more than their fair share.
Either they do, except for Trump because he is scum.
Or they don't, and dems. need to rewrite the tax codes so they do.
Either way, it's a horrible look for Trump and the right.

How is paying millions in property taxes, employee taxes, sales taxes and extra not paying your fair share?

It is indeed an indictment of the tax code, riddled with give aways to wealthy contributors. It needs to be scrapped and revised. Force the wealthy to pay like we do.

But in the short term, the notion of a guy who brags about making billions finding ways to pay $750 a year or less is going to be a huge problem for him.

Maybe, but for anyone paying attention, Trump just rolled on congress. He didn't write the rules; and, for anybody paying attention, pointed out how congress abused their power to enrich those who treat congress critters very well. Remember that old thing about democracy and emptying the coffers. In our style of government it requires congress to vote the funds for people - we can't do it directly. There are basically two sets of political interest: people who vote for them, and the people who make them rich and give them the funds necessary to outcampaign the other guy. Incumbents generally don't lose for a reason. Democrats basically turned republicans away from fiscal conservatism. If you don't bring home the bacon, you don't get the vote. No choice but to play the game if you want to stay in the game - or the GOP has to drop fiscal conservatism to keep the leftists from taking over.
