That wasn't the point of the post. If JG is the best we have, then we can't blame him for that.

Real QB. Okay. Well, good luck because Shrout and Maurer aren't any better and if they were Pruitt and Chaney would have played them. But apparently the 7-game win streak has all the VolNation experts thinking they know better than Pruitt for some reason. You better buckle up because it's going to be JG all season more than likely and the sooner you accept that fact the sooner you'll start enjoying TN football again.

JG had nearly 300 yards, 2 touchdowns, and no interceptions and threw some beautiful balls. Y’all seem to only remember the incompletions, which also were not that bad statistically, nor did he make any glaring mistakes. You're correct the game is close because of him. He's a great kid and a good ambassador for UT. But he's a Dll QB on a D1 team. Switch Qb's tonight and we won by 21. The team wins despite him being on the field, it's not because of him. He's the best option we have tho till Bailey can learn the offense missing spring paractice and half of fall really set him back. Hopefully that's the only reason he isn't starting.

the game we overthrew some passes we will have to work on that this next week. Yes we do with another qb. Jg been dong this now for 4 years.

It does... I was hoping he’d be more fluid tonight but he’s still holding the ball too long and throwing behind receivers

From what I have read, Jg took all snaps with the 1's in practice. If that is correct, it was again no competition for qb start. It was Jg from the beginning. You can't expect any of our other qb's to come in the game with little or no experience practicing with the starters and do as good as they would have if they had been given snaps in practice with the starters.

We have a very week QB room. Jg is the best we got. We just gotta hope Bailey learns the offense and eventually can take the reigns. If Mauer or JT was better they would be on the field. It's pretty scary how bad our QB room is. Id sign 3 QBs a year till we find a D1 Qb

No one is saying he played lights out....but dang we ALL know who and what JG is before he played a single down tonight.

If “you” want to complain....hey complain about the coaches.....they play him....they (just like us) know he’s going to throw those.

We need help. Please can someone work with JG too correct his deliver and mechanics of throwing the ball. We being Volnation will take anybodys help right now. Where is Peyton when we need him? This throwing the dang ball high has gotta stop JG. Ive already accepted that the coaching staff is still going too play this kid. But dang it someone for Christ sakes someone just anyone help JG. Im just frustrated watching him throw this high ball with a release t part of his deliver. And dang it 100 mph fastball with a WR just 10 yds or less from him. My God, our QB needs help! We not going too change QBs I get that already. Heck I counted 5-6 high balls tonight. Im just frustrated watching him. I'll shut up and drink another beer. Im going too watch this UFC fight ive been waiting on. Go Vols! VFL!

But remember JG spent the offseason working with a qb guru and he's improved a lot and (rinse and repeat).

His last two performances, counting the bowl game and tonight, show he's regressed.

If we don't have a qb on the roster better than jg, we have a serious problem in qb recruiting
