I’m for SCOTUS having term limits . Same with congress , 8years , 10 years , 20 years max . I don’t care which one .

Appointments are different but don't tell me who I can or can't vote for

I really do believe that term limits would fix about 50% of our problems in government. Our worst enemy is the "career politician". And before anyone says a word... yes, Joe Biden is one of them.

You can't vote for a felon, someone too young, a non citizen, someone mentally incapable, someone who goofed up filing paperwork to run for office. There are already restrictions. You want to remove those, too?

But that person wouldn't be allowed to serve. Your idea would absolutely limit my choice of rep which goes against the idea of a representative govt

I think there was a candidate who was nixed by the party due to mental incapacity in the last decade or so. A state level deal.
