There's no laws about conduct on public property?
Since Ohio law says a mask is not necessary or mandatory when outside with social distance and since they were as you said on public property which is owned by the state and funded by the tax payers what law did she break before the officer approached her?

I have a problem with how schools and school boards have assumed so much authority over kids lives. A couple years ago a friend of ours kid got into a fight after school, wasn't on school or public property or at a school function but they suspended him and the other boy because they set it up while at school. My view is that if schools are going to assume authority over off campus activities then they should be held liable for anything that happens to a kid from them second they walk out of the door heading to school until they get home.
I know personally I never agreed to hand my parenting rights over to any school board. Just like I would never interfere with school board members parenting their children.
I would firmly tell the board they can kick rocks. I will deal with my child's behavior.

When my 7 year old got stabbed with a pencil by a boy who sent her home with bruises before, I was in that office. It finally came down to " if you aren't going to protect my daughter, I am giving her permission to protect herself, and when she does you aren't going to do **** about it" She ended up protecting herself against this boys next onslaught on the playground. The principle brought up the bullying rule, I said go ahead and suspend her, see what happens next. They dropped it, moved the kid out of her class. They didn't do anything to help this kid. I spoke to his parents and the problem became clear immediately. They sucked as parents.
I just taught my daughter she didn't have to put up with that crap.
They want to be the quasi parents but school systems don't have the depth to treat your child like you would. They are just another kid in a class of 24 kids in a school of 400 kids. They have zero business regulating what happens outside of school property.

I don't know. I'm no attorney, and I live in SC, and I hardly know more than basic SC laws (let alone Ohio), but it stands to reason that there must be some soft of law that says you gotta follow the rules, regardless of public/private property. It may not be as specific as "Ohio mask law", but I would imagine a broad, vague law like "follow the rules on public property" exists. Maybe not. I know someone who may know more about it, now anyway.

Now, I will agree this woman is a complete horses ass and should have followed the rules and complied with the officer

Pretty ironic this comes a day after the director of health stated they would attempt to block the Trump rally

That’s the same Jack Wagon that wants to make it mandatory for every Virginia resident to receive the vaccine when it becomes available. 🖕🏼

The rules of that park, a public park do not override unalienable rights.
Victimless crime of not wearing a mask around her family. I agree she was stupid as far as being taken into custody, I would have made him state why he was arresting me and complied. I understand her contempt for being assaulted and physically restrained for the crime of breathing clean Air outside and not wearing a mask. She just tacked more charges on.
The true meaning of justice is being left alone.
I'm pretty sure she was arrested for criminal tresspassing. I wish the video had shown the whole incident. Did a faculty member speak with her first before the officer?
