Interesting stat for concerned parents: there have been an average of 23x as many patients admitted to our local Children's hospital per year for influenza-related illness as there have been CV19+ inpatients in the past 7.5 months.

I've been hearing that flu season could be a nothing this fall/winter because there was almost no flu in the southern hemisphere this spring/summer. Evidently, flu doesn't "go away" during the hot months; it just migrates south to the southern hemisphere for their colder months, and then migrates back through community spread during the fall/winter. But since there's almost nothing to migrate back, the flu season should be much lighter than normal. Is that true?

Any article claiming that the lab in Wuhan is incredibly careful is a joke. There are numerous publications out there that mention how international scientists were worried about an outbreak there due to their carelessness.
You should get your head out of your butt.

Why would the flu season be lighter again? Is the regular flu virus scared of catching COVID19?
