Applied because of the financial hits many were taking because of the Covid pandemic. I believe it is a good policy for humanitarian reasons until we pull out of the crisis. Kudos to the current administration for doing this. Hell, Trump might not be the monster the far left is claiming he is.Well it’s new policy so I assume applied now
So where is the bailout for those who are landlords? There bills just stop? It’s god awful policy. Oh and isn’t it a deferment? So they all total due when it expires. So they can’t afford their $1,000 month rent now but will be able to pony up $5,000 when the moratorium is over? Yea ok. It’s band aid screwing landlords. Those who can’t pay are just delaying the inevitable for a few months.Applied because of the financial hits many were taking because of the Covid pandemic. Very few landlords are living paycheck to paycheck like their renters. It’s a good policy in the short term. If the economic downturn continues until next year of course even the landlords will need help. We all will.So where is the bailout for those who are landlords? There bills just stop? They may not live paycheck to paycheck, but they may own many rentals, how long could they hold out with no money coming in? Trump is picking winners and losers. Not acceptable. I have a friend who owns 20 rental properties. They all carry a mortgage. He’s screwed. What about large companies that are in the rental business? They are screwed to. Just exasperating the problem. The people paying $100 a month to rent a $500 TV will definitely have that $5k when the time comes. So where is the bailout for those who are landlords? There bills just stop? It’s god awful policy. So your friend with the rental properties , is he in danger of foreclosure? Certainly individuals like your friend should also get Similar reprieves like renters. They may not live paycheck to paycheck, but they may own many rentals, how long could they hold out with no money coming in? He’s worried about his situation. What about the people he owes money to? The most ludicrous belief is that there is just someone at the end of the renters loan who isn’t screwed. No person, rental company, bank, or company that buys these up is able to not be payed for any significant period of time. They go under and it’s like 2008.So your friend with the rental properties , is he in danger of foreclosure? Certainly individuals like your friend should also get Similar reprieves like renters.
That’s Covid and 2020 reality for you. It’s why everything needs to open up which Trump wants to do. What other solutions are there? He’s worried about his situation. Constantly changing stances have lost the CDC their standing. I've heard of some real CDC blunders in the past, but this year they have, as an entity, lost my respect.Sure doesn't help when the head of the CDC who used to say masks don't work now says they are better than a vaccine.
