If you want extra playoff revenue, just make the wild card series best of 3 and the LDS best of 7. Why do they make this so hard?

Whether or not Ozuna walks for big$, for which I would not blame him, Braves need to forget Duval's remaining arb years and extend him NOW as our LF or DH for the next 4 years. + bat, + glove, and relatively cheap compared to his value in another year or two.

Lot hinges on the DH announcement

I don’t think you can justify paying Ozuna what he’s pricing himself into and then be expected to play him in the field every day and bench Duvall.

I’d rather spend it at 3b if no DH.

I'm totally fine with the DH staying. Why did it take so long for the NL to adopt the DH anyway? From a labor perspective that seems like something that would have happened a long time ago.

Maybe they’ll announce it on opening day so teams can be adequately prepared. It’s not like significantly altering the playoff landscape two weeks before they start was a problem. 🙄

Oh my friend, the exact opposite is going to happen. Because now they don’t have to spend big money to make the playoffs. We wouldn’t need Ozuna or Hamels to make the playoffs over a full season. Why spend an extra $36M when you have a guaranteed playoff spot anyways?
